It was Valentines Day, aka the holiday where humans show their affection for their significant other or someone they harbor feelings for

Buuuut this year was different
This year you weren't single for once!
You were debating what you should get your boyfriend but seeing he despised human holidays and traditions
This might take a while.
"I mean he likes tea...nah thats too simple. He doesn't like sweets either- why the hell is gift giving so damn hard?!"
You ended up settling on some flowers, basic I know but you genuinely couldn't think of anything else that his grumpy self would like
*A lil time skip*
You closed the door and walked into your humble abode
"Hey."
"Heyy W/n- I uh, got you these"
You handed him the bouquet of various flowers
"I uh- got these for you."
"Oh thank you"
I pulled out something from the bag he was carrying and stuck out his hand for you to grab it
"Here. Take it."
It wasn't very visible but you could see the blush on his face
You opened the box to reveal a lovely pair of earrings
"I know you like this stuff so-"
You quickly picked him out of his chair to give him a hug
"I love it! Thank you!"
"ACK- Y/N PUT ME DOWN IDIOT!"
"Haha- sorry sorry-"
You set him down, and also gave him a peck on the cheek
"W-what was that for?"
"Because you're adorable!"
"I'm not even gonna argue at this point with you."
"The truth hurts sometimes honey"
You both spent the rest of the night cuddling, and he fell asleep in your arms
Ok, maybe a holiday about showing affection to a significant other isn't that disgusting
