The Azur Lane fleet sails onwards through the fog towards the ruins where the Crimson Axis prepares to meet them in what will inevitably be a large scale battle. The seas are calm and an apprehensive silence hangs over the fleet, broken only by the sound of waves and the occasional conversation among shipgirls. Helena stands aboard the deck of her light cruiser along fellow light cruisers San Diego and Memphis.
Diego: "So what is the place we are sailing to? I haven't heard much if anything about it.
Helena: "An old human settlement that was quite large and prosperous, before the Sirens attacked it. Any survivors were forced to find new homes elsewhere because the damage done was too significant. The death toll was unknown but suspected to be rather high and no attempts to rebuild the settlement have been made yet."
San Diego looks down at the wooden deck in sadness after the explanation. Countless lives lost in the attack and there was no chance of help arriving to drive the Sirens away before the settlement was completely destroyed. Memphis releases a saddened sigh and looks out into the fog.
Memphis: "Which is why we must start pushing the Sirens back now so that cannot happen again. How could the Crimson Axis turn their backs on the previous Azur Lane? We are stronger together, not divided."
