Boris was sitting in his hideout area, waiting in his small friend Kipper to get back with supplies. As he waited, he went through the stuff they had a lot of and the stuff they barely had. That list included:

Bacon soup - five cans

Wrenches - two

Nails - seven boxes of eleven

Bolts - five boxes of seven

Medicine - two bottles of twelve pills

Wooden planks - four

Paper - Thirty-two sheets

Pens - five

Hammers - one

Scrap metal - fifty

They had a decent amount of supplies. But they were going to have to get more bacon soup soon. As Boris looked through their stuff and organized it, a very small figure slipped out of the vent. It was Kipper!

"Hey Boris, I got some more wooden planks and bacon soup!" Kipper said. His voice was childish and happy. Kipper was a small inkling child with a full ink black body. His hair was black as well. The only things that stood out were his small dark brown overalls and his yellow strand of hair. Boris chuckled gently and smiled.

"Good job, bud. Now, we can secure the front door of the hideout better." Boris said calmly as he picked up some nails, a hammer, and wooden planks. Kipper followed Boris over to the door and sat on a shelf nearby. "I thought it was a fortress." He said, and Boris rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"It's a junk lot. That's what it is." Boris said as he hammered on some planks to the door to keep it shut. Kipper watched while eating a can of bacon.

"What's a junk lot?" Kipper asked as he jumped onto Boris' shoulder and sat down. Boris looked at him for a second before getting back to work.

"I don't know how to explain it. It's basically a place where people keep junk. Like broken cars and old washing machines." He said as he rolled his eyes. Kipper nodded and continued to watch Boris. After a few minutes, Boris finished up and sat down at a small table in the room. Kipper sat down as well.

"Want to play checkers? How about Jenga? Maybe Scrabble? Or we can play Dominos!" Kipper continued to name board games as Boris listened with a confused face. He just nodded to show he was listening.

"How about we just chill and play Checkers?" Boris said gently when Kipper stopped ranting. Kipper nodded, and then they both sat down while eating bacon soup and playing Checkers.
