thank you all so much for supporting "A Tinker's Job", "The Most Important Gear", and "Trials of the Heart"! in all honesty, i did not anticipate having garnered so much support and grown such a large (to me) amount of engaging readers, nor did i expect to be making the first book into a trilogy! so thank you all for inspiring me to write more hehehe
i appreciate every single one of you, and i love reading your comments! they're the highlight of my day and i cannot even begin to tell you all how funny you are :) i can only hope my stories here on wattpad serve a similar function to you all!
that leads me to a few questions that i've recieved/anticipate for you all to ask me (if you have any, leave them in the comments and i'll answer them there!)
q - will there be a 4th book?
a - yes! there will be a 4th book, but i don't see myself posting it in a while hehe-
the first extra chapter will be a preview of what it'll be like! i don't think i'll make the 4th book as long as i've made the other books in the series, but it'll be all fluff (and maybe some smut too, idk what future me is gonna do)
q - was the ending modified or did you plan to break our hearts?
a - i originally planned it so scaramouche gets his heart and then gets to propose to y/n. there would have been some tension where "oh shit the heart isn't working" or something like that, but i switched it so y/n gets into a tragic accident so he has to give her his heart.
honestly, it sounded a lot more poetic in my head since it shows scaramouche's development. if y/n had given scaramouche a heart at the cost of her own life during his shouki no kami arc, he wouldn't have batted an eye if she died.
i always planned for a happy ending because i cannot handle sad endings and ABSOLUTELY hate them :)
q - how did you come up with the ending?
a - i don't know tbh lol-
i guess i got inspired by "giving your heart to someone you love" and took it very literally.
q - will you write other scaramouche books (unrelated to the series)
a - oh for sure! there will be a day when scaramouche gets a diff book that isn't related to "A Tinker's Job"! same can be said about cyno, tighnari, and tartaglia!
q - is this the same timeline as "A Worthy Replacement"?
a - i admit that i only rlly put the meetup scene between "brighella" and y/n because i thought it'd be funny lol
plus i wanted to get people to go "WAIT A MOMENT", which worked lol
q - when will the extra episodes be released?
a - they'll be uploaded every toosday :>
q - how many extra chapters will be released?
a - i'd say around 1-5 in total (its just an estimate); i'd rather not force myself to write smth extra if it has no added value. lmk what you all want to see in the extra chapters :P
