Chapter 1 - Nightbreak.

LOCATION: MAEDA HOUSEHOLD. C-573.

TIME AND DATE: JUNE 20TH, 2025.
Rendrils is here today, we're going to a new universe, and we're doing prep work for now.
''Come on old man, Why are you being so cautious? This universe's power levels are next to nothing! I don't even think this one has a Ren.'' Rendrils nagged me.
''I know, but YOU need to stop being so careless, low power level universes have screwed you over before, you've told me on our limited adventures. AND, this universe has had power surges, we NEED to be careful Rendrils.'' I win our little argument by mentioning his carelessness, guess it's that easy to prove a point to a teenager.

After a bit more prep, I go over to Akira for some kind words. ''Hey... Are you sure you don't mind me going back on the multiverse bullshit?'' I ask her, expecting her to say something different than those few days ago.
''Ren... I've loved the multiverse stuff since we started it together, trust me, I'd go with, but I can't because of our child... But in a few years, when our little boy is grown, we'll be going on all kinds of adventures. Stay safe, alright?'' Akira's words touched my heart, I give her a kiss and promise her I'll be back soon.

As I move back to Rendrils, he opens up a portal to our new reality. ''So, Rendrils, how do you know who or what we're looking for? Is there like any specifics?'' I ask him, Rendrils' power to access the greater multiverse other than our own variations is great, thank god for his improved, more powerful Nexus abilities.
''Well, I like looking for... let's just say the ''main characters'' It's nice to see people different than us, living their lives in different ways than others, like us y'know?'' I guess he's right, I nod and we enter the portal....

LOCATION: INFRONT OF THE ''MAEDA'' HOUSEHOLD, A-295C.
TIME AND DATE: NOVEMBER 24TH, 2023.

Well, this surely can't be my house, considering there's a different name on the mailbox, me and Rendrils book it out of there, before hearing... Music? A concert was going on nearby... And the main singer and guitarist... was a Fox?
''Ah, this guy... Seen a few of him, dude's name is Silver Marshall, lab experiment usually, I did my homework about this guy by blending in as a new classmate in one of the universes when I was 14... Sadly that guy died tho. But this one.... He seems good.'' Rendrils told me about the lore of this Silver guy, he seems... Like your average kid, despite being a lab experiment.
''Hmm... Judging by him and his friends in this universe... And the uniforms of the school of course... Seems like They're all like 16 to 17? 11th grade uniforms of the school I went to when I was still in school.'' I tell Rendrils this information, and we decide to ask him and his friends some things when they're cleaning up their little concert.

We wait a bit until him and his band are backstage, and find more Anthropomorphic animals, including one that's a ghost...?
''That one, the purple one who looks similar to Silver, that's Solar Osborne, they were supposed to be one guy but they got split during the experiment, the green dog is Miles Cross, Silver's cousin, he's around your age. Then we have that little siamese cat, Koi Flowers, Silver's boyfriend, sweet guy really. Aaaand the ghost probably caught your eye already, that's Maxwell Osborne, Solar's brother.'' Rendrils really is up to stuff... We listen in for a bit, seeing what they're like.

''Wow Silver, you actually didn't suck for once, nice job.'' Solar said to Silver, guess he's the meaner one of the two...
''Yeah!! You did great dude!! That last solo was AWESOME!!'' Maxwell said, he seems like a nice kid.... Despite being incorporeal.
''Yeah yeah we all love them, but I really should get you all back to all of our houses... Your guys' parents might get mad!'' Miles seems like a caring guy... Glad theres someone to keep these unruly kids in check.
''Ugh, you're always a goody two shoes Miles!! Despite being the exact same I was at my age!! Atleast let us have some fun!!!'' Silver said, I wonder if what he's saying is true, unless I figure out time travel aswell, I wouldn't know.
''I already asked my parents for permission to stay at Sylvie's, so don't worry about me, Miles!'' I take back what I thought, Koi is DEFINITELY the one who keeps everyone in check.

Me and Rendrils decide to approach, expecting the worst and hoping for the best.
''Heya! That show was awesome!! You guys seem cool!! Let's be FRIENDS!'' Rendrils is awkward as hell... And I thought he was gonna be snarky... They all kinda look at us, like we're crazy.
''Uhh... Thanks? Not to be rude or anything, but you guys don't seem to be from here... You two lost or something? And what's with the gloves on one hand?'' Miles asked us, damn, he's a perceptive guy...
''I feel like I've seen this trope before, two guys from some weird place stumble into weird group of friends, and they somehow all get along.'' Maxwell said, Is my life a movie in this world or some shit? If so, where could I buy a copy?
''I think you should show us what you guys want from us before Miles here breaks some of your bones or something.'' Solar said, what a cruel guy, and I thought other Ren's were cynical....

I step up to save our asses. ''Alright fine, It's not like lab experiment animals will find much stuff weird anyway, but we're multiversal travelers, same guy from different universes actually, and we've been looking into your universe a bit, and we've been finding... weird power surges.''
''...SEE?! I TOLD YOU GUYS MULTIVERSAL TRAVEL WAS POSSIBLE!!! BUT NOBODY BELIEVED ME EXCEPT SYLVIE!!'' Koi said with the most manic smile on his face, I think he's lost it... 

We all talk a bit more, and like Maxwell said, we get along quite well! Silver is pretty cool and more knowledgable than he looks, Koi is smart and we enjoy discussing alot of ''nerdy'' topics together, the rest are also just really friendly and laid back, expected from teenagers honestly.
''Alright... But back to those power surges, If you look over there, it seems like theres a huge beacon of light coming from on top of that building, I went up there in full invisible ghost form... and found this weird portal? I couldn't go through but it doesn't seem good... Get up there and you can probably figure it out? We'd love to help but we gotta get home, promise to visit again?'' Maxwell asked, I nod and We head out.

''Huh, nice kids honestly.... We got their numbers too, so they can always call if something's up or they need anything... I like them.'' I told Rendrils as we were in the elevator of the building.
''I knew you'd like them, since I like them too y'know? And again, as one in the same we share interests... obviously.'' Rendrils said, I guess he's right.
When we get to the top of the building, we find the portal, just like Maxwell said, and then we
manage to seal it up, making this universe stabilized once again.

''Well, I guess I should head home, laters!'' Rendrils said after he brought me back through a portal, and then he left himself. I walk back inside my home, and get a hug from Akira.
''So, how was it hun? Anything interesting or fun?'' She asked with a smile on her face.
''Yeah! We got to watch a concert by a Fox and their band, and then we made friends with said Fox and their friends! And yes, I got pictures like you always want.'' I show Akira the pictures and she swoons over how cute they all are... apart from Solar and Miles, she still finds them cute, but not as much as the other three.
''Akira... I'm gonna head to bed, why don't you join me?'' I ask her nicely, like every other night.
''Awww.... Does little Ren need cuddlesss? Of course I'll join you silly!''
And with that, today ends on a high note, new allies, a universe saved, and ending the day with cuddles from my wife. I'll see what tomorrow holds.
