Percy's family don't treat him that well, they don't hit him or anything but they kind of abuse him mentally, and his siblings make fun of him most of the time.
The only place Percy feels like he can be himself and have fun is in the forest near a b...
I will start to write a new chapter today, so it will be uploaded today or tomorrow. But I feel like I haven't explained what Percy looks like as a merman, and when he isn't, that good. So this short chapter will just be what he looks like, and a little what Hydra and his friends look like. I will do this from time to time as they grow up.

This is approximately what 11, 12, 13 year old Percy looks like. Except his eyes are a very light icy blue color and his hair is almost to his waist. He has a lot of feminine features, he got that because the only gene he really has is from hydra, if he hadn't taken the potion to make his dna the same as Hydra's he probably would have looked more like a boy.
He doesn't always put his hair in fancy hairstyles, mostly it's just ponytails, messy buns, and braids. But when he does his hair for special events he goes all out, and the older he gets the more complicated and fancy it gets. Until his sixth year where he cuts it all off, he does grow it out again as an adult.
He has a very fast metabolism so he is very thin. He thinks he is so thin because merpeople are a very thin species so they can swim and turn faster, he is thin for both reasons. He does eat a normal amount of food for his age. He is also very short, right now he is about 5,2 - 5,3 foot tall. When he is an adult he is about 5,7.

His scales and color pallet is green and gold. He has a random patch of scales all over his upper body in his merman form, he also has small gills on his throat and his teeth are sharp so he can hunt better. When he was younger he had webbed fingers but as he got older it disappeared completely, right now he has up to the middle of his fingers. But when he is older his scales are somewhat visible on his legs, and he has small, thin scars from his gills. You will read about how he handles that/why it happens later.
