Percy finally understood why olive was such a closed off, keep to herself person and didn't talk to many other campers.. it's not because she doesn't want to but it's because when its revealed that you're a child of one of the big three gods you're all of a sudden some form of outsider at camp half blood
The logic behind that he would never understand but he felt as if he understood olive a little better now

The day after Percy was claimed as the son of the sea god Chiron got Percy to immediately collect his belongings so he could move into cabin three and the whole time Percy packed up his stuff olive sat calmly on her bed glancing over every now and then trying to hide her annoyed look
A frantic knock came from the door to the Hermes cabin early that morning and olive glanced up in sync with Allison and saw that none of the Hermes kids were making an effort to open the door so olive rolled her eyes slamming her book a lot louder then needed while storming over to the door swinging it open to reveal Percy holding up a newspaper in annoyance
"Read this!" Percy said not even waiting for a greeting handing her the newspaper before pacing along the Hermes cabin porch and olive looked down before glancing up at Allison discreetly who began reading it for her
"I added an ancient creek translation to make it easier turns out my lessons with AnnaBeth come in handy after all" Percy mumbled lazily pointing at the paper
"Percy you look just about ready to pass out stop pacing and straighten up or ya gonna get a hunched back" olive snapped and Percy immediately stopped pacing
So maybe he had a right to be freaking out and to be really mad at this gabe guy who clearly is a dickhead but him getting annoyed is making her annoyed by his loud stomping as it was a bit to early for her brain to really start functioning
