...Velvet....

....Velvet!....

...Get up Velvet!...

*Splash!*

"Agh, Ahem AHEM!!" A girl Named Velvet coughed as she felt wetness all around her face and shoulders.

Slowly sitting up, She quickly remembered where she was. Back in Rosalith, Capital of Rosaria, at the training grounds, sparring. Until...She got hit in the face by a wooden sword??

"Do you Yield?" Looking over, she saw a tall blond man with a beard line, Named Rodney Murdoch, holding the bucket that no doubt stored the water that was just splashed on her.
"That is of course if you wish your brother to be gloating all week?"

"Wha?! No way!" Velvet argued as she jumped right back up!
"He just got lucky!"

"Did I?" Looking back, she saw her Brother, Clive, Smiling with his smug face.
"I thought we didn't believe in luck."

"Shut up!" Velvet said as she seemed embarrassed.

"Don't give up now!" A blonde young boy encouraged while a silver haired girl sat beside him, and a small pup on her lap.

"Go on! You'll definitely  win this time!" The girl encouraged too.

"Oi. Who's side are you on??" Clive asked in disbelief while Velvet, the boy and the girl giggle.

"Very well! to arms then!" Murdoch said he stepped back and tossed Clive a wooden sword.

Velvet tightened the wooden blade strapped to her gauntlet, making sure it won't just fall off.

"Best not disappoint our onlookers." Clive said as he held his wooden sword forward, and Velvet in turn her her wooden blade forward too as the two wooden weapons came in contact.

"Wouldn't dream of it." She smirked before they both stepped back, putting distance between themselves.

As the other soldiers gather to watch behind the wooden fence around the twins, They were eager to see how another duel between them would end.

Clive was first to strike, swinging his wooden sword at Velvet he dodged, and swung her wooden blade at Clive, forcing him to block and push her back!

Velvet followed up with two kicks followed after one another toward Clive, who barely managed to dodge the first one but the second landed on his shoulder, pushing him back.

The two traded blows and swings  over and over, appearing to be evenly matched.

The other soldiers. alongside the young blonde boy and the girl all had began cheering and maybe, just maybe, making bets again.

The two kept sparring, until they entered a weapon lock against each other! the creaking of their wooden weapons was heard clearly, before they managed to push each other off!

"Impressive." Clive commented as the two kept the distance between them.

"You're still pretty good yourself." Velvet commented back.
"But, how about we both kick it up a notch? If you still think your Casting is as good as mine that is~."

"Wouldn't have it any other way." Clive nodded, before they both prepared themselves, making the crowd of soldiers watching to look closer in anticipation!

Velvet closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.
'...Concentrate...focus...Feel the flame of the Phoenix.'

As she opens her eyes again, the twins both called out at the same time!
