As Morning came, Velvet was in the staples checking on her Chocobo.

"Sorry, can't have you come along this time around." Velvet said as she patted the Gray Chocobo.
"Come on. Easy now."

She led her Chocobo out of the staples, and arrived just in time to see the soldiers all lined up and ready for The Kings departure.

She saw Clive in the distance with his own Chocobo, A white one, and moved beside him with her own still following her and they both stood tall as the King, with Joshua and Laphicet both behind him side by side on their own Chocobo's ready to leave.

"Friends! We ride for Phoenix Gate!" Elwin announced loud and clear.
"May the Blessing of the Empyreans, Go with us!"

"AND SHIELD THE FLAMES FOREVER MORE!!!" The rest of the soldiers announced the rest of Elwin's words with a cheer.

"His Grace departs! Open the gates!" A guard announced and the front gate of the castle creaks up, letting the king and his army to leave.

Clive and Velvet made one last check on their chocobo's before one of the soldiers walked toward them.
"You highnesses, Please allow me. I shall see them arrive safely Phoenix gate."

"Thank you." Clive said while Velvet nodded, and they saw their Chocobo's be led away.

"Excited?" Velvet asked.

"Of course." Clive nodded.

"Hey!" The twins looked over to see Niko Run up to them.
"Going away huh?"

"Yes. After exterminating some deamons we'll meet up with the other forces in Phoenix gate." Clive explained.

"Deomon slaying huh? That's a big task." Niko said.
"You two are gonna be big after today if you slay something BIG and SCARY."

"Haha, Uh Let's not jump to the worst outcome so fast." Velvet chuckled at Nikos remark.

"...soooo....Clive? Can I talk to you for a second? It won't take long, Promise." Niko asked.

"Sure." Clive nodded and followed Niko, leaving Velvet to wait for him to comeback.

"...I hope Niko isn't giving Clive a Love letter of sorts." Velvet wondered.
"Oh what am I thinking?? She's not THAT brazen!"

Soon, Clive returned as Velvet saw Niko waving them goodbye from a far and running off to her chores.

"What was it about?" Velvet asked.

"It's...A surprise." Clive answered, making Velvet wonder.

Right after that, They notice 4 Rosarian soldiers approach. One had short red hair with a sword. one had long black hair with an axe on his back. One was slightly shorter than the rest with short black hair and equipped with the same gauntlet blade as Velvet. And the forth one had blonde hair tied to a pony tail, and was equipped with a spear. They all saluted at the two and one of them began speaking.
"We're ready to depart, M'Lord."

Clive and Velvet nodded.
"Sir Wade. Sir Tyler. And," Velvet began to greet.
"Hmm, Haven't seen you two before. And I remember all the soldiers in Rosaria. I take it you two have recently joined?"

"Ah yes!" The Blonde one spoke up and slightly bowed.
"I go by Sir Wedge."

"Sir Biggs, Your highnesses." The other one introduced himself with a slight bow too.

"I see." Velvet nodded with a smile.

"Ah good. Everyone has gathered." Looked over, they saw Arthur approaching.
"I take it you all are ready?"
