Unlovely allows y/n to create damage to a buildings structure. However the more damage he does to a building the more damage is done to his body; on-top of that it is very hard to control and takes a lot of magic. Therefore he never really uses it.

Personally:
Y/n is a very quiet and hardworking man, often overworking himself. He has a hard time speaking up and saying no to people.
He is often calm, and determined; however he is very easily angered and is often aggressive to those of the same age/younger than him.
He often had childish views choosing to see the best in people, even when they treat him badly or show signs they aren't the best of people. 
He is very forgiving. Growing up he never had many friends, so now he finds himself doing anything in his power to keeping friendships alive, even when he isn't treated the best.
He isn't very caring to others, often not being able to comfort nor understand why people are feeling things.
(Also he often talks in a country way, (because I'm from the country and its kinda hard to make y/n's without talking in a way that I do) or you can see it as a city accent (again also from the city so my language is a mix so it may make y/n talk in a mix)
