Author's Note:

I'm not completely happy with this chapter, but I've been really busy and a lot's been happening in my life. Normally, I'd just wait a few more days to kind of mull it over and tweak it, but I know you guys are really eager to read it, so I've decided to publish what I have. I might come back and change it slightly, and if I do, I'll let you guys know :)

So without further ado, the Billboard Music Award Goes To...

May 21st, 2017:

We had just walked into the venue when we were hit with possibly the loudest screams and cheers I'd ever heard, we hadn't even walked ten steps in. My ears were literally ringing. I turned around in surprise initially, almost expecting Beyoncé or someone of the like near us. But it was impossible to mistake who the screams were for given they were shouting BTS repeatedly. Our fan chant had even started now. Everyone in the arena turned to the entrance we had come in from and stared at us as we walked by. We all couldn't help but smile proudly, if blushing a bit. Jimin and I turned around and waved to the fans on the second floor which only resulted in them screaming even louder, if that was possible. I couldn't help but laugh slightly at how out of hand, in a good way, this was.

We're shown our seats in the front row of the second block of seats. I sit down between Hoseok and Jungkook. Sejin comes and hands me the blanket I'd used in the limo. Fans were still being as loud as they possibly could. It was deafening, but secretly, I loved it. I felt like they were proving to all the celebrities in attendance that we belonged. They might not know anything about us, but these thousands of fans did which had to account for something. I turned around to look at just how many people had come which only resulted in more screams. I smiled and waved, to the same result.

"This is crazy," I laugh to the boys near me.

"We shouldn't move too much," Hoseok grinned, "they scream every time we do".

"Y/N, you're trending!" Namjoon said loudly over the screams.

He passes me his phone from the other end of our eight seats and I see the hashtag #TheGirlintheMiddle trending on US Twitter. Right below it, #ThirdGuyFromtheLeft was also trending with people wondering who Jin was. It looked like my hashtag was pretty much about the same thing. I press on the hashtag and see what the gist of it was. The first tweet had a picture of us with the caption "who's the girl? She's drop-dead gorgeous wtf". The tweet below read "anyone know her skincare routine?".

I brought the phone closer to my phone to inspect the picture of the first tweet. We were not coordinated at all, at least in this picture. I couldn't help but chuckle. Some of us were looking up, some to the right or left, it was everywhere but at the same time, so BTS. I felt like I was happy with how my look turned out at least. I looked very cute, but not too girlish so I fit in well with all the boys lined up in their nice suits.

"Y/N," Hoseok mutters loudly for me to hear over the noise. He nudges me too for good measure.

I look up and see yet another celebrity wanting a picture with us. I put Namjoon's phone away and pose. After this one, another celebrity one appeared. I felt bad for security that seemed to be on their toes constantly, their eyes moving left and right at the crowd that was forming around us. Drake, Ansel Elgort, Rita Ora, Lea Michele, and Rachel Platenn, who sat on Namjoon's lap much to all of our surprise, had all come to get pictures. The boys had internally lost it when Drake came over to talk. I knew he was much more their idol than mine so I let Namjoon take the lead, but Drake had acknowledged me, asking if it was I right I was Canadian and bonding a bit over that.
