I leant again the door frame, watching as the doctor ran around her console with deep concerntration. The doctors blonde hair flicked gently each time her head turned, her tongue stuck out to the side as she fiddles with some wires. The way her hands glided over to each switch, and her eyes fluttered in their hazel beauty was breathtaking.
She adjusted her posture, noticing me as she turned in a little spin.
"Hi, y/n!"
The Doctor greeted, her lips pressed into a smile as she hopped forward slightly. I snapped back to reality as I heard the doctor finally speak, I crossed my arms and looked into her eyes; I felt slightly confident as I was taller than her in this current moment.
"Hey, what are you up to?"
The words come out of my mouth without a thought.
"Nothin' much! Just doing some work on th' old girl."
A small smile tugs at the corners of my mouth, relaxing to her voice.
After a moment of just eye contact, I remember something I've always wondered so I decide to ask now because why not.
"Doctor? Do you ever sleep?"
My brows furrow as I focus on the blonde infront of me.
"Uh, when I want to."
The Doctor replied, her answer was quick. My eyes tracked her body down, The Doctor had a couple of wires round her neck like a scarf and her coat had several smudges of dirt on it.
"I know my coats a bit mucky, I'll just change it."
The Doctor interrupted the silence, she must have noticed I was looking, oops.
"Cant you just wash it?"
I ask curiously,
doesnt she wear it everyday?
"eh I suppose I could."
I cross my leg behind my other. The blonde shrugs the coat off her shoulders as she walks back over to the centre of her control room. Her slim but muscular arms covered with her white top but still visibly outlined through it.
Hot
She grasps her coat in her left arm and takes the wires from around her neck, throwing them on the floor. The Doctor walked over to the TARDIS wardobe and I decided to follow her.
I stopped at the doorway, the racks of outfits lined up and a spiral stair case in the centre.
Several floors too? Damn
I caught up to The Doctor, she was only a couple floors up so it didnt take too long, she moved the racks back and got out another coat that was identical.
"Wow. How many do you need?"
I mutter, in surprise to the few coats hung up.
"Its good to have spares, I like a good spare coat."
The Doctor began to ramble, she stopped as I leant forward to take a coat of the hook, holding it out in my hands, the fabric soft under my fingers.
"Can I try it on?"
I ask, my eyes pleading with hers, she gives in.
"Alright!"
How is she so enthusiastic all the damn time
I sigh and pull the coat around me, it somehow fits and is really light and comfy. It was cool as it hadnt been worn recently but it still had The Doctors scent lingering on it.
"Does it suit me?"
The Doctor nodded, shyly smiling.
