Ok so here's the deal. I was supposed to put this in an authors note but I don't think I could pass off as them. So first they wanted me to say that they only proofread the first half and at put that they, and I quote, "I'm also incredibly depressed about Matpat's retirement. He's the one who literally taught me everything I know about fnaf, and his SB play through was the first FNAF game I'd ever seen. I'm going to miss him."
Anyways, today I went to a Barnes and Nobles and I didn't realize that the fifth book of Heartstopper was out so of course I got that. I also realized that the Sky: cotl demo out on steam was literally was the regular game but their just still adding some features. And PSA: you can make stars out of plastic straws.
Currently have plastic straws in my hands,
Starlight.

"When will she wake up?"
"Is she really dead?"
"Did he kill her, too?"
"He's never killed a grownup before..."
My eyes opened, and there were several gasps.
"She's awake!"
"Charlie, come here!"
Children were standing over me, observing me with wide, curious eyes. I sat up and shook my head a few times, my brows furrowing at the sight of all of them. There were about eight, different ages and sizes, but wearing the same expression.
"Hi," I said nervously, raising my hand and waving.
They whispered to each other, then one stepped forward and beamed when she saw me.
"Y/N!" she exclaimed.
I gasped, then smiled too. "Rosemary!"
She threw her arms around me and said, 'You're here! You're really here!"
I squeezed her, and didn't notice when another little girl stepped up. This one was very young, maybe about five years old, but the way the other kids parted so she could get to me said she had some kind of importance and authority. I let go of Rosemary, but let her sit in my lap.
"Hey," I greeted, not sure what else to say. "... Do you know where we are?"
She looked around. "Where do you think?"
I finally looked at my surroundings, which perfectly matched that of Parts and Service, right down to the dim lighting, my swivel chair slightly askew, and the light layer of dust that always covered the protective cylinder.
"Why...?" I started to ask.
The little girl cocked her head the side and responded, "I thought you would ask 'how', but 'why' makes sense."
It took her a second, but after a moment's thought she answered my question. "We're here because we can't leave, but also because you said you like it here. Right?"
I stared at her incredulously. Who was this girl? She talked differently than most kids her age. She was more mature, and held herself in a manner that implied she'd been around, at the head of this small group children, for far too long. Her wavy, shoulder-length brown hair was perfectly parted, and for the moment was tied back with a green ribbon. She wore a bracelet on her left wrist that was the same color, but stood out in comparison to the rest of her outfit, which was a dull gray.
For a second I could've sworn her appearance shifted, for there was a brief flash of black and white, but it switched back to normal before I could be sure.
