It was about 3 in the morning when my eyes were dry. I couldn't tell if i was listening to the sky crying or him.
"Tanjiro?" My voice slightly above a whisper, "Are you awake?" No response. I move around slowly as to not wake him; i pull him closer to my chest and rub his back gently. "It's gonna be okay. I promise, Kay?" I whispered in his ear.

"Do you think... that everyone at school will know about what happened..? I mean.. rumors will spread Urogi.." Tanjiro sat up, staring down at me with teary eyes and a pained expression. "I don't want people to bully you."
"I don't care. I really don't, Tanji." I also sit up so we're at eye level. "All i care about right now is you getting some sleep and not worrying.. I'm okay. But are you?" He looked puzzled, like if what i asked was a riddle.
"I'm okay. Just tired and sad."
"And that's okay. Just try and get some rest. Soon this will be okay for you and me.. okay?"
"....Okay. I love you.." My heart skips a beat,
"...I love you too, Tanjiro."

When morning came, i was up first.

What's a good way to start the day off right?

Pancakes in fucking bed, obviously.

I went into the kitchen, grabbing all that i needed to make the bomb ass pancakes with and some strawberries i found. If there's one thing my friends and family doesn't know about me, is that my secret side is that i love to bake.
I don't need no measurements, i learned that shit by memory years ago. I whip and whip the mixture, start putting it in the pan, but i made the small pancakes because they're cuter.. To add a little more, i cut the strawberries up, put them in a big pot and started cooking it. Well, i don't know what to call it. I'm making fucking jam y'all, if you didn't catch on. I put the sugar in, making sure if i need to add more or no. When finished with that, I let it sit in ice water and put that shit in the freezer so it'll cool down faster. I wait until it's around the time everyone wakes up.. i take out the jam, get plates ready, and boom.
Cute, small pancakes with homemade strawberry jam, some sunny eggs and orange juice to finish it off. I set it on the table just to see his mom walk in..
  "Oh my," She presses her hand to her chest, "You did this just now? No wonder it smells so good.. It looks lovely, Urogi." I couldn't help but blush.. She's the kindest woman i have ever met..
  "T-thank you, Mrs. Kamado.."

After saying that she smiled and went to get the rest of the family, but i immediately went into Tanjiro's room to find him asleep still. I smile and run towards him, jumping on the bed and drowning him in kisses.
  "Wakey Wakey!!" I shook him gently, but he wasn't waking up.. "Tanjiro?" My heart was starting to pound.
  "Oh, he's okay, Urogi. He's sometimes a heavy sleeper, especially after traumatic things. I sing him a lullaby i made when he was still in my tummy."
  I moved away, to let her do her magic. I listened to the words. To the song. He has the best mom.. Surely the fuck enough, he woke up.
  "Tanjiro!" I gasped dramatically, "You're alive!!" I saw him laugh under his breath and yawn,
  "Yup! Sleepy is all, haha!"
  "I made everyone breakfast, come come!" I grabbed his hand, also, his mom was already leaving the room. Once he was downstair, everyone was sitting down at the dinner table and looked at us.
  "What took you so long?" His younger sister spat out,
  "Sorry, was sleepy last night,"
  We all ate, they said it was delicious and i thanked them too.
