"You're still not tired of this?" I asked Castiel while tending the garden. I'm still not looking at him, but from my peripheral vision, I knew he brought me a bouquet of apricot flowers.
"Sorry. Can't help it." He chuckled lightheartedly as if I've never turned him down for years. "By the way, I realized you didn't like the expensive gifts I gave you."
I didn't speak.
"So I made an origami out of your favourite flowers." What he said made me stop working to look at him. "Don't worry, Fatima, the materials I used were also cheap."
I glanced at his eyes and realized there were bags under them.
"This is so hard to do, but man, it's worth it!" Castiel didn't even seem tired because of the excitement he exuded, then he happily lent the bouquet to me.
Something tugged in my heart.
This time, I didn't turn down his gift as I was left frozen. That's enough to make him happy even though I didn't smile or thank him for it.
