I was quietly watering the autumn-colored flowers until Castiel arrived to talk to me. My peace was ruined again.
"So... Fatima?" he grinned like an excited kid. His eyes were twinkling. "I already knew your name."
I shot my brow at him before ignoring his presence. The withering flowers were in need of water and warmth, so I gave my undivided attention to them.
"We should get some ice cream next time!" Castiel cheered.
I stayed silent.
"So... no ice cream?"
I nodded, still not looking at him.
"Don't worry, I'll throw some ice cream party for you! Root for me, Fatima!"
His footsteps began to walk away from me. My head stayed as it was, looking down as I continuously watered the flowers, watching it die and drown.
