" [voice over] For over a century, I have lived in secret; hiding in the shadows, alone in the world. Until now. I am a vampire. And this is my story." Stefan says
Darren and Brooke are driving in their car through the woods.
" An hour's drive to hear that crap. You know, it wasn't even a band. A guy with a guitar. An hour each way." Darren says
" He wasn't that bad." Brook says
" He sounded like James Blunt." Darren says
"What's wrong with that?" Brook says
" We already have a James Blunt. One's all we need." Darren says
"So why did you come?" She asks
" Because I love you." He says
" Nicely done. What's with all the fog?" She says
" It'll clear in a second." He said
A man is standing in the road
"Watch out!" She yells
They run over a man.
" Are you okay?" He asked
"We just hit someone! Oh my god!" She says
" Call for help." He says getting out of the car
"Come on, come on!" She says
"Please be alive! Oh, my god." he says
The man wakes up and bites him in the neck.
"There's no signal! Darren! Darren?" She says getting out of the car
Brooke runs and gets dragged up into the sky.
Salvatore Boarding House
Stefan is on the roof.
"I shouldn't have come home. I know the risk. But I had no choice. I have to know them." He says
He Jumps off roof
Emery POV
I am in the bathroom getting ready, my natural curly hair I don't know why Elena insist on straightening it,
I look at myself in the mirror, A green top, jean jacket, Dark blue jeans, and grey converse, I take a deep breath,
"You'll be okay.." I say
I open the door bumping into Jeremy,
"Sorry Jerr." I say
He chuckles
"It's alright it's early." He says
I nod and walk downstairs. Me and Jeremy are closer than him and Elena, which is odd since me and her are twins. Identical actually. Me and her would be mistaken for each other we used to replace one another at school all the time until the teacher got smart and placed us in the same class. Which might I add just blows.
[In the kitchen.]
" Toast. I can make toast." Jenna says
" It's all about the coffee, Aunt Jenna." Elena puts herself a cup
"Is there coffee?" Jeremy says taking the cup from her, And gives a look and gets another cup out and pours herself a cup again
"Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" She says
Jeremy takes the money
" I'm good." Elena says
"Me to." I say
"Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?" Jenna says
" Don't you have a big presentation today?" I asked sitting at the island in the kitchen
" I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at...now. Crap!" Jenna says
" Then go. We'll be fine." Elena says
Jenna leaves
" You okay?" She asks Jeremy
" Don't start." He says leaving
I am sitting in the back of Bonnies car as Bonnie drives
" So Grams is telling me I'm psychic. Our ancestors were from Salem, witches and all that, I know, crazy, but she's going on and on about it, and I'm like, put this woman in a home already! But then I started thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted Heath Ledger, and I still think Florida will break off and turn into little resort islands.." Bonnie rambles
We pass a cemetery as I look out the window.
"Emery,Elena! Back in the car." Bonnie says
" I did it again, didn't I? I--I'm sorry, Bonnie. You were telling me that..." Elena says
"Ditto." I say
"That I'm psychic now." Bonnie says
" Right. Okay, then predict something. About us." Elena says
" I see..." Bonnie begins
A crow hits their car. The car swivels and screeches
"What was that?! Oh, my god! are you two, are you okay?" Bonnie asks
" It's okay. we're fine." Elena says
" It was like a bird or something. It came out of nowhere." Bonnie says
" Really, We can't be freaked out by cars for the rest of our lives." Elena says
"Yeah." I say
" I predict this year is going to be kick ass. And I predict all the sad and dark times are over and you are going to be beyond happy." Bonnie says
I spot Matt and walk over to him as he has his ear buds in,
"Hey Matty blue eyes." I say
He sees me pulling out his earbuds,
He hugs me
"It's been forever." He says
Even though she broke his heart I still remained friends with him.
"How are you?" He asked
"I'm fine." I smile as we start walking towards our class.
