Emery POV
It was the next day, I walked out of my room, wearing Dark jeans, a red shirt and jean jacket.
I see Jenna walking towards me and Elena.
" Do I look adult? As in respectfully parental?" Jenna asks us
" Depends on where you're going." Elena says I nod agreeing with her.
"Jeremy's parent-teacher conference. Hair up or down?" Jenna asks
Jenna puts her hair up.
"Sexy stewardess." Elena says
Jenna lets it down.
" Boozy housewife." I say
" Up it is. You two are feisty today." She says looking at us
" I feel good, which is rare. So I've decided to go with it. Fly free, walk on the sunshine, and all that stuff." Elena says
"I wouldn't go that far." I say looking at her, She just shrugs
"Where is Jeremy?" I asked
"He left early. Something about getting to wood shop early to finish a birdhouse." Jenna says
Me and Elena exchange looks.
"There is no wood shop, is there?" Jenna says
" No." We both say
"Yeah." Jenna says
Me, Caroline and Bonnie are walking towards our last class of the day talking.
"I'm confused. Are you psychic or clairvoyant?" Caroline asked
" Technically, Grams says I'm a witch. My ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something. Grams tried to explain it all, but she was looped on the liquor so I kinda tuned out. Crazy family, yes. Witches? I don't think so." Bonnie says
I chuckle
" Yeah, well, feel free to conjure up the name and number of that guy from last night." Caroline says
" I didn't see him, you did. Why didn't you just talk to him?" Bonnie says
" I don't know. I was drunk.And why weren't you at the party last night?" Caroline asked
I just shrugged.
"What did the mystery guy look like?" I asked
"Don't change the subject, he was hot," Caroline says
I just roll my eyes.
Later me, Caroline, Bonnie and Elena are making flyers for the comet tonight.
"Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity." Bonnie says
" Yeah, and then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about the aliens. So then what" Caroline says
"So then nothing." Elena says
" You and Stefan talked all night? There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind?" Caroline says
" Nope. We didn't go there." Elena says
" Not even a handshake? I mean, Elena, we are your friends. Ok? You are supposed to share the smut." Caroline says
" We just talked for hours." Elena says
" OK, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already! Ok, it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex!" Caroline says
" Profound." Elena says with a look
Elena gets up.
"Where are you going?" I asked
" Caroline's right. It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying what I was going to do." Elena says
"Have fun." I say but she yanks me out of my seat.
"You're coming too." She says
"Umm why?" I say as she drags me off
"So I don't chicken out." She says
I just roll my eyes.
