Emery POV
Elena drags me in the house of Stefan.
I whistle
"Whoa nice digs." I say
"Stefan? Stefan?" Elena says
"We probably shouldn't have just walked in." I say
"The door was open." She says
"So that just gives us an invite?" I ask
She shrugs
A crow flies into the house. Elena turns around and a man with dark hair is standing there.
" I...I'm sorry for barging in. The door was...open." Elena says we see the door is now shut.
" You must be Elena. I'm Damon, Stefan's brother. And who are you?" He says looking at me
"I'm Emery Elena's twin sister." I say
"Twins I can see that." He says with a smirk
" He didn't tell me he had a brother." Elena says
" Well, Stefan's not one to brag. Please, come. I'm sure Stefan will be along any second." Damon says
"Wow. This is your living room?" I asked looking around in amazement
" Living room, parlor, Sotheby's auction. It's a little kitschy for my taste. I see why my brother's so smitten. It's about time. For a while there, I never thought he'd get over the last one. Nearly destroyed him." Damon says
"The last one?" Elena asked
"Yeah. Katherine, his girlfriend? Oh, you two haven't had the awkward exes conversation yet." Damon says
" Nope." Elena says
"Oops. Well, I'm sure it'll come up now. Or maybe he didn't want to tell you because he didn't want you to think he was on the rebound. We all know how those relationships end." Damon says
" You say it like every relationship is doomed to end." I say
" I'm a fatalist. Hello, Stefan." Damon says
Elena. Emery I didn't know you two were coming over." Stefan says not even looking at us
" I know. I should have called, I just..." Elena says
"Oh, don't be silly. You're welcome any time. Both of you are. Isn't she, Stefan? You know, I should break out the family photo albums or some home movies. But...I have to warn you. He wasn't always such a looker." Damon says
"Thank you for stopping by, Elena. Emery Nice to see you." Stefan says
" Yeah, we should probably go. It was nice to meet you, Damon." Elena says
" Great meeting you, too, Elena. Emery" Damon says
Stefan is blocking Elena's way as he stares at Damon.
" Stefan....Stefan?" Elena says
Stefan moves; Elena leaves.
We both leave,
"Was it just me or was that weird?" I say as we get in the car she just nods.
The Next Day
I am currently sitting on the bleachers watching the cheerleaders. I am doing my homework.
I hear music from the parking lot. I see a very nice car. Damon was driving and Caroline get out of the car smiling walking towards the Cheerleaders.
I see Elena and Bonnie looking shocked with a funny look on their faces. Do I see a hit of jealousy on Elena's face.
Hmm that's odd.
We were now home preparing for Stefan to bond with Bonnie, I don't know why I had to be here.
