Chapter 5

Maki woke up and opened up the curtains while blinking to get used to the light. She looked at Sousuke and said,"Good morning Sousuke!" Sousuke slowly woke up and wagged his tail seeing the happy look on her face. Maki did her morning routine and looked at the clock,"Okay, 7 more minutes until school starts.""I woke up 2 minutes late..." she said to herself. She said,"Okay, Sousuke... here's your food and drink.""I'm going to school." She placed the bowl of food and water for Sousuke and went outside riding on her bike.

Maki placed her bike near other bikes and went inside the school seeing Lucy come towards her,"Hey Maki!""How was the you know party which I mean Shadow?" Lucy said while winking at Maki. Maki laughed and said,"Ahahaha... well you can say I didn't really hang out with him.""I had to leave early to help Sting with his homework." Lucy asked teasingly,"So you mean, you did something didn't you?" Maki blushed and yelled,"Of course not!!""You sound like Juvia now..." Maki and Lucy heard some footsteps walking towards them,"Who do you think it is Lucy?" Maki asked. Lucy shivered and said,"I-I don't know."

A guy with blue hair asked,"What are you girls doing here?" Lucy asked,"Hey, aren't you that new boy?" Maki squinted her eyes and said,"Of course he is... I've never seen him before and he doesn't have his badge yet." The boy said,"I am new here and my name is Jellal.""Can you answer my question." Maki looked puzzled,"What are you talking about.""Well we students are supposed to enter here." she said. Jellal sighed and said,"But you are blocking the door way and now one person at a time can enter." Maki moved to the side and looked at Lucy said,"Lucy, move please." Maki said. Lucy moved away from the entrance and said,"Oh... sorry..."

Jellal left and Erza asked after appearing out of nowhere,"Isn't he cute?" Lucy smiled and said,"Heehee... Erza likes the new kid." Maki smiled and they heard the bell ring. "Well I gotta be going.""See you after class." Maki said. Lucy smiled and said,"I have something I've been wanting to tell you at lunch.""Bye!" Erza said nothing but walked away from them.

Maki was sitting next to Wendy and said nothing for 2 minutes until the teacher Happy went inside. Mirajane as always would help Happy get on the table to teach us about fish. Happy said,"Before I can start class, I would like to check your homework on fish!" Happy looked at Lucy and said,"Lucy, can you come up here and tell us what you wrote." Lucy said,"Oh... okay..." Lucy stood up and talked about fish until the last part about it. "No!""That's wrong!" Happy said. Lucy said,"So-sorry Happy..." Happy said,"The correct answer is 13." All of the students looked at one another and wrote 13 on their paper. Lucy sat down on her chair and wrote 13 as her correct answer. Sting smiled and said,"Just 1 wrong is good enough for me." Maki said,"I told you I would get it wrong!" Sting winked at her and said,"Actually I told you that." Maki said,"Right..."

The bell rang and all the students went outside the class and walked through the halls talking with their friends. Maki went towards her locker putting her books in for P.E. class. She went in the P.E. locker and changed into her P.E. uniform. She went in the gym looked at the sub teacher who was Elfman since he wanted to volunteer as a you know... MAN. He said,"We start off with 20 push-ups!" Maki groaned and asked,Push-ups?!""I hate push-ups." Elfman said,"You gotta be a MAN!!" Maki sighed and said,"But I'm not a man... I'm a girl." Natsu was doing some push-ups and said,"Its not that hard." Elfman smiled while looking at Natsu,"You are a MAN!!!" Maki asked Gray,"Why did the coach have to pick Elfan?" Gray said,"At least we weren't stuck with Aquarius." Amki shivered and said,"Yeah... she would make us swim 20 laps!" Elfman yelled,"No chitchatting!""Start your push-ups right now!" Maki and Gray nodded and started their push-ups.

After 5-6 minutes everyone finished their push-ups. Elfman smiled and laughed,"That took forever, a man would do it quicker!!" he said. Maki asked,"Can we do sit-ups?" Elfman nodded and said,"Do 20 sit-ups please.""Be a MAN!!!!" Maki nodded and did her sit-ups before anyone else can do it first. She really loved sit-ups and she did 24 sit-ups when she was at middle school. After a few minutes, everyone finished and Erza fist pump Maki and said,"We were awesome!" Maki nodded with agreement and said,"We even did better than Natsu and Gray.""We didn't break a sweat!" Elfman said,"Now we have to test our stamina!""Do 19 laps around the gym!" Everyone groaned and walked outside starting to run.

After gym class...

"Erza.... I'd rather have someone else volunteer as our coach tomorrow." Maki said. Gajeel was also in gym class and said,"That wasn't really tough.""Even Elfman can't do 100 push-ups." Erza said,"Hey, at least he didn't really give us 100 push-ups." Laxus smiled and said,"Us guys can handle the job." Gajeel nodded and boasted,"Us boys are better than girls." Maki asked with an angry tone,"Then why did I beat you when we were fighting outside 2-3 days ago?!" Gajeel blushed and said,"Uh.... I was going easy on you girls so I would hurt your cute face that you care so much about, geehee!" Maki growled and asked,"Then why did you lose when you fighting Erza?""Hmmmm...?" Erza smirked and said,"She had you there, and if you use the same excuse you told me that you weren't going easy on me." Gajeel grunted and left the P.E. locker. Laxus also left not becuase he was mad, it wasd because he had no business staying in the P.E. locker. Erza and Maki laughed and Erza asked,"Did you see the look on his face?" Maki nodded and said,"His face was like all embarrased/angry!" Erza said,"It's kind of lunch time so lets get going." Maki said,"Oh... okay."

Kagura was walking with Milliana and asked,"The new kid... Jellal, I don't like him.""why is that Milliana?" Milliana shrugged and asked,"How am I supposed to know?" Kagura said,"I feel like there are duplicates of the same person.""I sense it." Milliana's eyes widen for awhile and then she smiled with a slight laugh,"You have lost your mind to day Kagura-san!""Stop thinking about that guy, Jellal and focus on normal stuff." she said. Kagura sighed and said,"You might be right..." Erza was walking with Maki and Kagura said,"Erza..." Milliana asked,"What did you say?" Milliana's ears were twitching and Erza looked at Kagura and said,"Hi Kagura-san." Kagura blushed and said,"Hi... sister..." Erza hugged Kagura and asked,"What was that?" kagura looked around the hall way and yelled,"SISTER!!!!" Erza blushed and smiled,"That's much better." she said. Milliana said,"Wow!""she said that really loud." Maki said,"Kagura is Erza's sister?" Milliana shook her head and said,"Nope, just friends that are acting like sisters." Maki said,"Sooooo...... I"m going to the cafeteria.""Bye!"
