Chapter 6

Maki was sitting on her school chair at class looking around suspiciously and murmured to herself,"Who stole my lucky item?!" She turned her head right, left, back, and front. "Maki... why are you always turning your head?""You have to concentrate on FISH!!!" Happy yelled. Maki smiled slightly while scratching her head,"Aha... ha..." She then put her head down in disappointment and said,"I'm sorry Happy..." Lucy nudged Maki on the elbow and asked,"Why are you acting so strange, hmmm?" "Is it because you want to see who' she cutest boy on school and you are comparing them to one another?" Maki gave Lucy a serious face expression and asked with an angry voice,"What... do you think...?!" Lucy smiled slightly and said,"I was just joking..." Maki smirked,"From the looks of it, you were serious!""Well, I need to find my lucky item for the test on Monday but I think I lost it." Lucy asked,"Why in the class?" Maki smiled and said,"Number 1, you think that no one in the class might have robbed your lucky item to get an A+ on the test because you think they have to study a lot.""But, you are wrong!" Lucy said,"Well, studying is how you get an A+, A-, A, or a B+." Maki sighed and said,"The person who stole it might not like studying or is to lazy."

The bell rang and all the students walked out of the classroom after Happy said,"Remember to study for the test on Monday!" Everyone nodded and walked out. Licy saw Natsu and asked,"Hey Natsu!""Have you seen an item?" Natsu looked confused and asked,"What item?" Lucy looked at Maki and said,"An item that looks like uh..." Maki said,"That looks like a (favorite animal)." Natsu was silent for a while and said,"Hmmm.... I think Erza has it.""I think she was holding that type of animal." Maki smiled and said,"Thanks Natsu!" Lucy and Maki walked off to find Erza.

Erza was sitting with Jellal on the bench outside admiring each other. Maki smiled and said,"Hey Lucy, look!" Lucy giggled and said,"They are love struck!" Maki nodded and called out,"Hey Erza!" Erza glanced at Maki with a her face light pink. Erza said something to Jellal and walked towards Maki and Lucy,"What do you want?" she asked. Maki asked,"Do you have my lucky item that was a (favorite animal)?" Erza showed Maki her plush that was a (random animal),"If you mean this, I don't think this is yours." she said. Lucy said,"S-sorry, we thought you accidentally had Maki's lucky item." Maki asked,"Have you seen anybody with a glass (favorite animal)?" Erza said,"Try Gray.""I think he does."

Maki and Lucy looked at each other and walked back inside the school going up to the roof where Gray always likes to hang out. They arrived and Maki asked,"Do you have my (favorite animal)?!" Gray fidgeted and asked,"What do you mean?!""I won't steal anything!" Lucy said,"He's clear, but lemme check in his backpack." Lucy walked towards Gray's bag and looked through it,"Uh... book, book, ice pack, wait ice pack?" Lucy asked while looking at Gray. Gray said,"I need that to get Natsu." Lucy looked through the bag and said,"Book, book, animal keychain, wait keychain?!""Since when do you need a keychain?!" Gray blushed and said,"I have to give that to Juvia." Lucy sighed and said,"I knew it!""Gray isn't the one." Maki said,"We have 2 more minutes until next class." Lucy nodded and walked with Maki downstairs.

The bell rang and Maki sighed and said,"I'm going to find my item after school." Lucy smiled and Maki and said,"I know that you are going to find it!" Maki nodded with a slight smiled and said,"I hope..."

Time Skip
Maki's P.O.V.
School is over and I haven't even found my lucky item yet! But good thing I have a back up item. I smiled and Wendy ran towards me,"Maki!""Is this what you were looking for?!" Wendy yelled. I looked at her and saw my lucky item. "My lucky item!""Where did you find it Wendy?" I ask her. Wendy said,"It was at the lunch table." I looked puzzled and asked,"At the lunch table?""I never put it there..." Wendy said,"Well... Sting kind of found it on the bench outside." I scratched my head and said,"Oh!""Thats where it was!" I snatched my lucky item and said,"Thank you~!" Wendy smiled and skipped away,"Your welcome!" she said. Now I kind of learned my lesson never to take it to school. Heehee...

Sting's P.O.V.
I was lying on my bed and said,"I guess I should study right now." I sat on my chair and started studying with a short chuckle. The truth was, I stole it from Maki so I could see her be so desperate to find her item. It was funny, but it was cute though. I wish she can be desperate for me to say I love her.
