Chapter 8

*ring* *ring* *slam!* "Shut up clock!""Its only 6:35..." Maki said slamming the button to make the clock stop alarming her. Maki put her (favorite color) blanket over her body and mumbled,"Stupid alarm clock, it ruined my sleep." *bark* *bark* Maki took her blanket off and looked at Sousuke with a tired face. Sousuke whimpered as if he didn't want her to be really angry with him which was true. Maki smiled and scratched her head,"Heh, okay.""I'll wake up." Maki stood up and did her morning routine. Maki dressed into her casual clothing and went downstairs to make pancakes and put dog food in Sousuke's dog bowl,"Eat up!*smile*" she said.

*Ding* *dong* Maki opened the door to see little children in scout uniforms holding boxes filled with something. "Will you please buy one basket that has sweets in them?" one child asked. Maki looked what was inside the basket and said,"Hmmm....""Okay, how much?" The other child said,"$2.00 please ma'am." Maki got out her (favorite anime except for fairy tail) designed wallet and gave them $2.00,"Here you go." she said. The children gave her a basket and said while bowing down,"Thank you for buying one." They then walked to the next house and Maki closed the door.

"Hmmm... sweets in heart boxes and some cookies." Maki said. Sousuke wagged his tail and Maki said,"I'm not giving you one since it's bad for dogs or should I say poisonous." Sousuke barked and ran to the living room. Maki smiled and said,"Yeah, you don't want to be poisoned." *Ding* *dong* Maki asked herself,"Is it those kids again?" She opened the door and saw Mirajane. "Kon'nichuwa Maki-san." Mirajane said. Maki said,"Hi Mira.""What do you want to tell me?" Mirajane said,"Um... Carla said that we have to practice today so we can learn our roles since Monday is a tiring day." Maki said,"Uh... okay." Maki went upstairs to change into her casual clothes and she brang the costumes. Mirajane said,"Okay, lets go."

At the auditorium...
"Okay actors, here is your script for the play." Carla said giving the script for the actors. Lucy walked towards Maki and said,"If you wanna know, I'm the princess of light.""Sting's sister." Maki said,"Yeah, I was kind of wondering why are you here.""Is Erza going to be here?" Lucy said,"Who knows." Lucy got the script and said,"Thank you principle Carla." Maki looked at her script that was 10 pages long. Carla asked,"Did you guys bring your costumes?" Everyone nodded and Carla said,"Good, change your clothes please in the boys' and girls' fitting room.""If you need help, ask your friends." Everyone went in the fitting room and changed into their costumes.

Maki was changing her clothes and said,"Mira, can you please help me with my hair?" Mira nodded and asked,"Sure, what do you want me to do?" Maki replied,"I just need help on tying my hair up really neatly." Mira said,"Okay." Mira put Maki's hair up and Sherry said,"I look so lovely!""I'm glad to be the queen." Lucy smiled and said."Everyone looks so nice." Mira said,"Done!" Maki looked in the mirror and said,"Sugoi!""Thanks Mira!" Mira smiled.

"Tch, why is buttoning so hard?!" Natsu asked. Gray smiled and said,"Its easy." Natsu looked at Gray and said,"Sure, but I don't see any shirt or pants!" Gray said,"Wait!" Rogue smiled and said,"Black is the finest color for the dark prince.""How's your costume coming along Sting?" Sting asked,"I'm fine.""Do you guys know what the girls are laying as?" Laxus said,"All I just know is Lucy is your sister, Mira is Rogue's sister too, Maki is the girl is lonely, Sherry is the queen for dark and light, and Levy is the next generation of world also known as the goddess of the land." Gray asked,"Can we go now?" Rogue said,"You can go anytime."

All the girls and boys went out of the fitting room and Sherry said,"Oh!""My hair got loose." Maki asked,"You want me to help?" Sherry smiled and said,"Thanks!" Maki was trying to make Sherry's hair into a bun as it was supposed to be. Carla asked,"Is everybody ready?" Maki said,"No, I have to fix Sherry's hair." Carla sighed and said,"Alright, 10 minutes before we rehearse." Sting glanced at Maki and blushed slightly while mumbling to himself,"Maki is so kawaii." Rogue asked,"What are you looking at?" Sting looked at Rogue and said with a smile,"Ahahaha, I'm looking at the background for the play!" Rogue sighed and said,"You think you can convince me with that?""I know you are looking at Maki." Sting blushed and said,"Shut up Rogue."

Maki said,"Alright, done Sherry." Sherry smiled and said,"Thank you!" Maki looked at Sting and said,"Woah...." Lucy asked,"You are looking at Sting aren't you?""Am I right?!" Maki blushed and said,"Just shut your mouth please." Carla said,"Just read the script and go along with it." Everyone nodded and started rehearsing.

(I'm just going to time skip this one but if you want, I can right the whole play down on chapter 9 or 10)

Time Skip
"Awww, my hair is now curly!" Lucy complained. Mira smiled and said,"You look fine with your hair curly.""It might even impress Natsu." Lucy blushed and said,"No, no, no, no!!""That will never happen, besides he had Lissana." Mirajane asked,"Lissana?""Why would you think that?" Lucy said sadly,"Because they're childhood friends and all I heard was that they're going to get married." Mirajane said,"Don't worry, there might be a 100 percent possibility you might go out with Natsu." Lucy smiled and said,"I'm glad you're my friend."
