Chapter 11

"Ma-Maki... rejected me...." Sting said quietly. Tears then flowed down his cheeks and he was heartbroken. He stood up and wiped his tears and said,"Tch, can't anything be right?" He walked back in the school and saw Rogue. "Why were you outside?" Rogue asked. Sting pushed Rogue and said,"Nothing." Rogue then appeared in front of Sting and said,"Sting... something will happen that will make your life change." Sting said not even making eye contact with him,"Urusai... something bad happened right now..." Sting then walked away going to the auditorium to calm down a bit.

Lucy asked,"Sooo... what happened?" Maki said,"Sting just..." Mirajane smiled slightly and said,"Asked you out?" Maki looked a little bit shock,"Yeah... but I-" she got interrupted by Lucy. "You agreed!" she yelled. Maki shook her head and said,"I disagreed to the request." Lucy yelled,"Why?!" "This was going to be a happy ending!!" Maki said,"You don't control my decision, Lucy... now just leave me alone or just stop talking about what happened." Lucy looked pretty shocked and said,"I-I'll stop... talking about it." Maki got a cup of fruit punch and asked,"What was your favorite part of the play?" Lucy smiled and said,"Where you ki..... I mean where you tried to kill Sherry, heheheh..." Maki yelled,"If you're so concerned about it then just leave me alone!!""I'm going home..." Maki threw her empty cup in the trash and walked out of the school.

Lucy's P.O.V.
*sigh* I know how it feels to reject something that you really want to say yes too... but at least give it a try Maki. "Lucy-san, is something bothering you?" Wendy said. I looked at her and said,"Daijōbu, I'm just thinking about something." Carla said walking next to Wendy,"I know Lucy, you're just worrying about Maki." Wendy looked at Carla and said,"Carla, what happened?" Carla said,"I'm not so sure but something did happen." I felt someone tapping my shoulder and I thought, is Maki back and considering to help her? I turned around and saw Natsu with a serious face. "Natsu!" "What's the matter?" I asked. Natsu then smiled and said,"Yes!!" "We did it!" I asked,"Did what?" Natsu said,"We did a great job on the play!!" I said,"Re-Really?" "That's great!!" We then celebrated but I was still worried about Maki and of course Sting. Are they... okay?   End of P.O.V.

Maki was sitting on her bed hugging her knees that were pressing on her chest. "What am I going to do Sousuke?""Sting isn't even going to talk, and also everyone is going to be worrying about me which is pretty annoying." Maki said. Sousuke looked at her and then turned around 3 times and laid on his dog bed. Maki cried quietly while wiping her tears. *ding* *dong* Maki and Sousuke heard the bell ring and he then started to bark. Maki said,"Shhhhh.... don't bark!"

Maki heard her phone ring and she grabbed her phone seeing Sting's name. "No, no, no!!" "He better not be the one ringing the door bell!" Maki slowly picked up the phone and said,"H-hi... Sting..." Sting said,"Open the door." Maki laughed sarcastically and said,"I'm not even home!""I'm at the market buying some fresh vegetables to make some soup." Maki murmered to herself while blocking the speaker,"Please let him leave..." Sting said,"Maki, I said open the door!"  Maki thought to herself, he sounds pretty demanding, maybe he wants to kill me or... should I just open it for him and then hide. That sounds pretty stupid. Maki said,"Fine... just wait." Maki went downstairs and opened the door seeing Sting.

"Um... hi Sting?" "I just wanted to say I'm-" Sting then grabbed Maki's hand and hugged her,"Maki... even when you reject my love, I'll never hate you okay." "So don't worry, and when you're ready to return my feelings... tell me 'kay." he said. Maki blushed and said,"Oh... kay..." Sting let go of her and said with the smile Maki loves to see,"Well, goodnight." Maki smiled and said,"Goodnight, Sting-kun!" Sousuke barked and Maki said,"Shhhh mostly everyone is sleeping." "Well lets head back to the room." Maki walked inside with Sousuke having a delight feeling the day will come someday.

The next day...
"I-it's snowing...?" Wendy asked. "It's freezing." she continued while rubbing her hands together. Wendy quickly went inside her house to wear something cozy. Romeo asked,"Why are you rubbing your hands together?" Wendy asked,"Don't you feel cold?" Romeo said,"Just a little bit, I'll set fire on the fire place so you can warm up a bit." Wendy smiled and said,"Thanks Romeo-san." He set up the fire in the fire place and Wendy sat down on the blue couch. *ding* *dong* "Who could that be Romeo?" Wendy asked. Romeo said,"I don't know." "Lemme check." Romeo opened the door and saw Cherria. "Is Wendy-san here?" Cherria asked. Romeo said,"Uh... yeah." Wendy ran towards Cherria and gave her a hug,"Cherria!!" she said. Cherria said,"Wendy, Romeo, we are going to have a pool party today at 3:45!" "Here ha go!" She gave them a invitation to where the location was." Wendy said,"Cool, thanks." Romeo said,"Yeah, I'm going back inside so I can warm up a bit." So he did. Cherria said,"Yeah I better go to back him with Sherry, bye-bye." She walked away and Wendy closed the door.
