My vibrant smile,brown eyes that shined
Your vivid smile,black eyes that were once mine
Our hidden love,now I sing this line
"I knew I'd curse you for the longest time
Chasin' shadows in a grocery line"
The tension between our eyes
I held you like you were a prize
And I don't wanna accept it's the same
"Cause i knew you stepping on the last train
Marked me like a blood strain"
I sit alone in a melancholy tune,
Longing for you ,under the moon
A colourful heart,now black and empty
"I knew you tried to change the ending

But, "to kiss in cars and downtown bars was all we needed"
