THAT night—when Genesis talked to me, was a painful night. I cried for quite some time while Berry listened to my rants. Pero wala rin naman akong magagawa, it's useless to drop everything off just because I felt unchosen.

Wala namang obligasyon si Genesis sa akin na mahalin ako. So I tried to be at least rational.

I planned the interaction I would probably have with Alvory in my head, but what I didn't expect was when she showed up with some gymnasts' friends. Though they smile nicely, I know deep down they're not at all.

As Berry would have it in her language, they're one of the variables that contribute to the causes of pollution—plastics and non-biodegradable. When burned they're smelly and contagious kaya madalas mahirap pakisamahan.

I smiled at them. Not genuine of course. You have great appetite translates to matakaw ka, you ate a lot, parang mauubos mo ang platter na dapat para sa ating lahat.

I balled my fist. This is the problem for most people who seemingly fit the beauty standards of society. Some of them become mean and simply proud to the sense that they become arrogant.

Had Yuri or Berry been eating with us? They would be surprised how great their appetite is but they'll tell them that in an amazing manner because they are slim. Their waistline isn't 29 or 30.

They don't have problems with their pants not fitting after a few bites of a burger because their metabolism is fast. The world is kind to people who don't take up that much of a space in a room.

But then just as when I thought they'd already been mean enough while we were eating. They've exceeded my expectations when I went to the bathroom to pee.

Typical Mean Girls event and I was surprised that it hadn't changed even now.

"I don't even get why Alvory has to be friends with her, I mean she's huge. Kadiri."

I took a step back. I am inside a cubicle in the restroom. I just finished peeing when these mean girls entered the bathroom. Of course without Alvory.

They wouldn't have the chance to gossip when Alvory's with them, she might pull their hair like a freak.

"Come on you guys, I heard sila na ng Genesis na 'yun, oh isn't it obvious? Avi likes balloons and inflated people. Gosh, she's such a stupid whore!" And then they all laughed.

"Maybe that's why she likes the ball when we're warming up," before they all said 'Yeah' and laughed again.

I swallowed a lump in my throat. I am curvy. I have an hourglass figure but I am bigger than average high school students.

I stayed calm and focused on their talks. My stomach is starting to burn. But whatever.

"If I were her or that Genesis I'd run from our house papuntang school, like every day. I can't believe na kambal sila ni Exodus. Like come on, I'll f*ck exodus any time of the day. With that physique. Ugh! I'm getting wet with just the sight of him."
