Chapter 27: ChoiceThird Person POV
Santi's fist formed into a ball, his knuckles white, matapos marinig ang sinabi ni Claudia. They were all in the living room of the McCrain mansion and Claudia just told him about Olivia's situation at the sentinel.
"She told me to assure you she's fine," Claudia confirmed. "She wants you to push through with your plan and not waste your time saving her."
Hindi nakapagsalita si Santi. He stepped back bago humugot nang malalim na hininga. He cursed under his breath. Kanina pa siya nagpipigil na sumugod sa sentinel building and destroy everything in his sight.
"Olivia's stronger than you think, Santi," Marco offered from the couch. "Hindi mo kailangang mag-alala sa kanya. She knows what she's doing."
He'd been looking after her for years, making sure she was safe, only to learn that she was tagged as a criminal by her own father. Damn all of them.
"Focus on the plan, Yvo," paalala sa kanya ni Marco.
Santi left the two in the living room. He'd been prone to letting his temper slip, pero sa pagkakataon na ito, kailangan niyang kumalma.
He went to the back of the mansion where an old room of his father resided. A forbidden spell required not only years, but decades of research, manifestation, and endless trial and errors. His hope relied on his skills to control the energies of the spell.
Back in the living room, walang nagawa si Marco kundi bumalik sa pagkakasandal sa couch sabay buntonghininga. He knew how much Santi was restraining himself not to wreak havoc in the sentinel building, pero hindi ito ang tamang oras.
They had submitted the files from six years ago to the Magic Council tulad ng suggestion ni Olivia sa kanya. It could reopen the case and prove the innocence of the McCrains.
They could no longer destroy a spell that had already been completed. That was what Santi was trying to do—a reversal spell. Sana lang ay makaabot ito.
The day of the town's foundation week came. The program would take place in one of the academy's dimensional room in the training ground. All the officials involved in the creation of the spell would be there...along with certain officials from the academy.
An invitation laid on Santi's desk, addressed to the fourth headmaster of Mirren Academy. Ang alam ng karamihan, the assembly would introduce a healing spell, a new breakthrough for spell users.
There are people from Penshaw, Hailing Cove, and Belltale. From these towns, train tickets to Cardiff were free to celebrate the town's foundation day. No one knew the immediate effect of the makeshift spell the assembly had made.
