"With your right hand, you save me."
Psalm 138:7.
Friday morning...
The house is crazy this morning as we are trying to rush out. Once again, we are late. I look all around for my gold ring that my grandfather, Poppa, gave me. For some reason I can't find it! This is frustrating!
"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE FIND THE BRUSH."
"WE DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS, BRII." Balice yells.
"YALL ARE SO IRRITATING." she yells.
I walk into the bathroom. "Whatever Brii."
Where is my ring?
I hear my mom say from her room, "Come on you guys, we're going to be late."
I walk into her room and say, "Mom, I can't find my ring," I sigh in frustration.
"That's on you Bray. You are always losing it."
I scan her room, finding the gold ring on the dresser.
I pick it up. "Ooh...found it."
Thank God.
She gives me an annoyed look.
"Thanks," I grin before walking out of her room.
"Finish getting ready and go downstairs Bray!" she says.
"Okay..." I say, getting a little annoyed.
I go into my room and grab my things and head downstairs. I start to make my sister's and my breakfast and soon enough, Brii comes down with Bailey on her back. She sits her down on the chair and I give her her breakfast.
"Good luck with therapy today, Bailey," I say.
"You're not coming?" she asks.
I smile at her. "Noppers, I have a date tonight,"
"Really? Is it with that boy you were talking about in the car the other day?"
"Yeah, his name's Trey."
She smiles at me. "Ohh, I hope you have fun."
"I'm a little nervous."
"Don't be, Bray," Brii walks into the room. "Yeah, mom told me. I can't believe she's actually letting you go. If it was me, it would've been no from the start."
I shrug. "She did say no at first, but Trey wanted to meet her to change her mind."
Brii puts her shoes on. "He must really like yo ugly butt."
I roll my eyes and say, "I didn't even know you stayed over, Brii...you going with mom to therapy today?"
"Yeah...where Twin at?"
"Upstairs, I think." says Bailey.
"BALICE," says Brii.
"YEAH?"
"BRING DOWN MY CHARGER FOR ME."
"UH, FINE," she says.
Balice comes downstairs and hands Brii her charger.
I smile at Bailey and Balice. "Aw, y'all ACTUALLY look like twins today."
Both Bailey and Balice's hair are in a high bun with 1 braid hanging on each side and they both have a black uniform on with silver hoops. They look so cute.
Balice walks into the kitchen after saying, "Oh, shut up,"
I smile and put my shoes on. Mom comes downstairs and puts Bailey's shoes on.
