VALENTINA REYES
Valentina is walking down the hallway when she sees Jughead storming past her and raises her eyebrows when she sees the Serpent jacket. She heard Weatherbee said no more jackets and is assuming he's suspended. A blond with a big smile on her face walks up to Valentina with her arms out.
"Evie-Rae! Finally you're back!" Valentina wraps her arms around the girl and smiles. Genevieve-Rae was Valentina's best friend apart from Kevin. She was the opposite of Valentina. An absolute sweetheart with a smile always on her face and welcoming to everyone. They've been neighbors their whole lives.
"Yeah, i wanted to surprise you." The two let each other go and keep walking down the hallway. Genevieve-Rae follows Valentina into the student lounge where Kevin is sitting and they both sit next to him. "Hey, Kev!" Genevieve-Rae greets the boy and he smiles at her.
"Gen, long family vacation this year." He says and she laughs while nodding. The Serpents come into the room and Kevin sucks in a breath as Sweet Pea leads the group towards them. "Don't look now but your boyfriend's coming." After Valentina and Kevin's hangout last night, Kevin thinks the two should try to work something out. Seeing as he's been trying to get ahold of her and it's clear she still has something towards him.
"He's not my boyfriend." Valentina snaps at Kevin as the group sits around them. It's Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Toni. Genevieve-Rae gives them a smile.
"Hey, guys." Fangs says to them and Kevin smiles at him. He sits in the same spot as yesterday, right across from Kevin. Sweet Pea sits in the chair next to Valentina's end of the couch and Toni sits across from her.
"Hey!" Kevin greets them.
"You know, I just saw Jughead. What happened there?" Valentina asks and avoids looking at Sweet Pea. Though ironically he's the one that answers, so she does look at him.
"That Mantle guy picked a fight with us. Jones wouldn't take his jacket off." Valentina nods her head and looks down at her phone. Sweet Pea continues to look at her for a second before looking away. He pulls his phone out and starts to text her. As soon as the text pops up on her phone she rolls her eyes, turns off her phone, and drops it into her lap.
"So guys this is Genevieve-Rae." Genevieve-Rae waves at the group and smiles.
"You guys can call me Eve or Rae, doesn't matter to me." The group all introduce themselves. Genevieve-Rae watches as Valentina aggressively texts someone back and gives her a confused look. "Everything okay, Valey?" Valentina looks at her and nods.
"Yeah, just some dickhead." Valentina saying, taking secret shots at Sweet Pea since he was the one she's texting. Sweet Pea laughs and Genevieve-Rae rolls her eyes. "It's not Clayton, is it?"
