He put a band-aid on Branch's arm.

In his defense, he hadn't known Branch would do this!

He'd been going about his day as normal when he'd felt something cling to his arm.

So he had scratched the arm of whatever was holding him.

It didn't even pull away so he looked at it and saw...

He saw Branch.

And dear lord he'd harmed the boy...

One of the few trolls he tolerated.

He'd never felt so guilty before.

So that's why he had Branch sitting on his kitchen counter while he placed a band-aid on the scratch, "I'm so sorry, Branch.." he sighed.

Branch shrugged and clung to him again, "It's okay! I should've asked or at least warned you first..I know you normally hate physical affection, I do too, but I guess I just kinda forgot that I wasn't the only one...I'm sorry.."

Sky smiled and rubbed Branch's head, "It's okay!" Then he whispered to himself so Branch wouldn't hear, "But the rest of the village won't be okay when I'm done with them."

He'd understood the silent and unintentional confession.

Branch had forgotten he wasn't the only one who normally hated affection because almost the entire village tried to force it on him and change his mind.
