Okay so I know it's been a while, and I apologize. I just got inspiration not too long ago to push out another chapter but this chapter (and maybe one or two more after this) is going to be flashbacks of what actually went down with Rose and how she went from villain to hero. Hope you enjoy!

Location: Rose's Prison

The concept of time had been lost to Rose ever since that creature dragged her, O'Callaghan and Lilly down deep into their split mind. And at first, she'd felt like she had a bad dream and had woken up to be surrounded by her friends and family. They'd said it was her birthday. Her memory had been foggy and it was almost like she'd forgotten who she really was, but she had a husband and children who adored her so Rose never put much stock into the feelings that something was wrong.

That changed later.

For years, her life had been normal. She raised her children with Arthur while being a dutiful and obedient housewife. They were happy. The farm they resided and worked on was large and always produced plenty of bounty.

It was around the twelfth year of Rose's imprisonment when she started to take notice of things that were...odd. Like the fact that her family was aging and yet she was seemingly staying the same age. And the nightmares of her being someone else always plagued her, but only on her birthdays. Those started becoming more frequent. And the strange people who would come and go to take their harvest. They always seemed so strange and Arthur never accepted payment for their bounty. The only time he ever spoke of it was to say, "we should be grateful that they want what we grow, so don't ask questions."

By Rose's 40th birthday, Arthur was an old man. And the children, who had become adults, looked far older than Rose did.

Arthur and Rose went and saw doctors about it but they could never give clear answers. Still, Rose was simply happy to have her children and her husband.

Until Arthur died.

Then her friends began passing away.

Then her children, and her children's children.

She'd outlived them all. But why?

And the dreams got worse. By Rose's hundredth birthday, she was having the nightmares every night.

Of a large, black beast swallowing her hole and slaying countless, innocent lives by gobbling them up.

And yet she always felt she was not a victim, but the beast itself.

As time went on, Rose felt herself change. She no longer visited family, no longer had friends, seeing as how watching all her loved ones die from old age, disease or accidents was too much to bear.

She felt cursed.

So she stayed away from people for a while...until she was introduced to drugs.

And then she became a stripper.

For a good portion of her imprisonment, Rose danced, fucked, drank, smoked, shot up and snorted her pain away.

It never stayed away for too long, though. It always came back to eat away at her.

Until her door opened during a Halloween celebration. Rose was dancing on stage, dressed like a sexy werewolf, practically whoring herself out for any money the hungry, horny inhabitants would throw at her, when she felt it.

Time seemed to stop when she saw the bright light outlining the front door of the establishment. People didn't seem to notice it. How could they not see it?
