mer's pov

i just got home from a long day at the hospital and i wasn't feeling good at all. i took a quick shower and put on one of derek's shirts that he left at my house awhile ago. i was really missing him. i laid down under the covers on derek's side of the bed, it wasn't really even his because he hasn't moved in yet. but i considered it his and i think he did too. the pillow smelt just like derek, a woodsy, warm, comforting smell.

i was laying there for a long time thinking about him. my stomach hurt and all i was thinking about was how i wanted derek here holding me. he was at the hospital when i left but im pretty sure he was leaving soon too, hopefully. i picked up the phone too call him.

"hey"

"hey what's wrong mer"

"i don't feel good, what are you doing?"

"whatt? what's wrong, do you need me to come over??"

"um yeah, please, i mean no not if your busy"

"nope your my first priority ill be right there"

i was on my period and my boobs and stomach hurt so bad i just wanted derek here to hold me.

derek's pov

i had just gotten out of the shower when mer called to be honest i knew she was on her period and when she called i knew she wouldn't be feeling well. i just dressed in a t shirt and pjs and got in my car and began driving to mer's house it was muscle memory i went there all the time i basically lived there.

when i arrived i went inside and walked up the stairs i opened the door and saw her laying on my side of the bed crying. i immediately ran over to her.

"mer! what's wrong?"

"nothing i'm okay im just emotional"

"aww why are in my shirt laying on my side"

"what?! no oh i'm sorry"

she began to get up and take the shirt off"

"mer no, no, i think it's cute"

i stopped her from taking it off and i kissed her on the forehead. i laid her back down and spooned her up behind.

"i just really missed you"

"i love you mer"

she started sobbing again, " i love you too"

i put one of my hands in her hair and ran my fingers through her hair. i laid my other hand and started rubbing her stomach. i ran my hand up her stomach to her breasts and started massaging them.

mer's pov

he comforted me so well i love him so much as he ran his hands over my body i felt tingles all throughout my body, the pain went away immediately

derek's pov

i kept comforting her and ran my fingers through her hair i pulled her closer and soon she fell asleep, i feel asleep quickly after.
