𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍 out of Athena's temple to a bunch of police cars and ambulances, the humans only seeing smoke emitting from the top.

Grover was watching the police officers talk to a man, Hope was watching the Fates, who were there at the scene. Annabeth was looking up at the arch where smoke was seeping out.

To the mortals, they just think that a fire started at the temple, but to demigods and gods, the Chimera was their fire.

Grover was watching two police officers interview a man, the chaperone that was at the top when Annabeth had pulled the fire alarm, seeing that those three had turned to them, the man probably saying that they had something to do with the incident.

Hope on the other hand was watching as The Fates were weaving their yarns, also known as someone's life, just staring at the trio.

"They're looking at us." Grover mumbled, looking down at the ground as to not make it obvious he was looking at them. Annabeth turned to the protector, seeing what he meant and squinted her eyes.

"Yeah." Hope mumbled, thinking Grover was talking about The Fates.

"So we should probably get outta here, don't you think?" Grover said, but Hope wasn't paying attention, seeing as the woman on the right wearing cyan blue, Clotho, had stretched out a string of yarn, the woman in the middle, Atropos, cutting it, making Hope freeze.

They hadn't found Percy at the river yet, not thinking the worst of it even though he fell 360 feet down. There was no body, how could they not think he died. Plus, the river was right beside it, maybe Poseidon thought to finally be a good father and save him. But then when Hope saw The Fates cut the string, it hit her.

"Dude, they're looking right at us." Grover said, causing Hope to turn to him.

"Huh?" Hope asked, finally looking at Grover and seeing what he was talking about. The boy motioned towards the officers, seeing that they were in fact looking at them.

"Come on. We need to find Percy." Annabeth said, catching the attention of the pair.

"Annabeth." Grover breathed, thinking the worst happened to him, but the younger girl cut him off.

"He's alive. I know it." Annabeth said, causing Grover to just nod and Hope to glance back at The Fates, still seeing that they were looking at them.

They all made their way to the boardwalk that was right beside the river, calling out Percy's name to try and find him. Hope just looked, not even bothering to call his name. It wasn't like she believed The Fates, because she didn't. But instead of Percy already being dead, it could mean he would die soon. Which made it worse.

Turning the corner, they all stopped when they saw the blonde boy drenched in water as he climbed up the rails, water dripping off his clothes.

Hope sighed of relief, for some reason happy that she was seeing the boy alive and right in front of her. Percy breathed heavily, slightly waving at them.

Hope started walking towards him, Annabeth and Grover following behind her.

"Hi." Percy spoke, stretching his arm out before continuing. "Look, I'm sorry about shoving you in the stairwell." Percy said, Hope walking faster towards the boy as he kept talking.
