Remus sat in the back of Muggle Studies for multiple different reasons. One was because it was the farthest away from Professor Quirrell he could get. Remus had nothing against Professor Quirrell except for the fact that he made Remus's nostril burn if he was closer to him for any period longer than 5 seconds. Peter said he smelled so much like garlic because he was attacked by vampires once and it freaked him out so bad that he covered his room in garlic, but Remus didn't really care, he just knew that the professor smelled like he bathed in garlic. He was also really shaky and made Remus very uncomfortable, so he sat in the back while the Muggle Studies teacher taught the class.

Now for reason number two and the more important reason, he could look at Sirius without being considered weird. At least not by anyone other than himself. When he became aware of his growing feeling for Sirius Black, he was sort of confused on what to do about it. After all he had no way of verifying how Sirius felt about him without revealing his feeling. Remus hadn't realized it but at some point he had began to draw Sirius. Remus didn't have to look at Sirius to draw him, he had the boys face engraved in his brain. Sirius's hair was pulled back in a half up-half down look with his wand using to keep the bun up. His hands were covered in an assortment of small drawing, some were done by Sirius, some by Lily some even my Peter. None by Remus. Remus was way to worried how he would act if he touched Sirius, especially for an extended period of time.

So, finally taking his eyes of Sirius he looked at the picture. Next to it, like some sort of anonymous signature he put a Cresent Moon with a paw print in the middle. "Remus." Sirius called. Remus quickly stuffed the picture away in one of his books and slammed it shut. It was a lot louder than he intended it to be.  Looking up at Sirus and James who were staring at him a bit confused.

"Sorry, what's up?" He spoke. The duo exchanged looks before Sirus clicked his tongue.

"I'm staying over Christmas Break with James and Lily. We already got Peter to stay. Do you want to?" Sirius asked. Remus didn't even have to think about the answer. Sure, he would love to see his family BUT spending a Christmas with Sirius and the rest of the Marauders sounded a hell of a lot more fun. Especially since this year, his aunt would be showing up and she was lowkey a bitch. (Not very lowkey at all) However, due to the fact that he just slammed his book rather loud and made himself look a bit weird, Remus cleared his throat.

"Uhm, let me talk to my mom. I'll try though," Remus said. Picking all his stuff up he followed his friends into the hallway. "So, have you talk to Reg? About staying over Christmas, I mean" Remus asked. Sirius nodded slowly.

"Yeah, he doesn't want to stay." Sirius said. Remus watched James's face fall for a second before he masked it. "He said something about 'Proper tea' and it only being made right at home." Sirius loved his brother to no end and was incredibly protective of him but they were still brothers so the whole 'I'm the only one who can make fun of him' rule applied.

"Reggie and his tea, probably going to get married when he's older," James said. Sirius rolled his eyes and playfully elbowed James.  Remus wasn't sure how Sirius couldn't see that James had a HUGE thing for Reg. He saw it as obvious.

To be fair though, most would say the same thing about Sirius with Remus, not that Remus knew that. "Well, this is where we part ways, I'm going to go Professor McGonagall she wants to talk about something," James said as they parted ways. The two waved goodbye to him and continued on their way to the Gryffindor common room. Luckily not in silence though since Sirius was talking a lot about this Christmas. He was really happy about staying at the school and couldn't wait for two weeks of just hanging out with his friends.

"So did you get me a gift?" Sirius asked. Remus raised his eyebrows.

"Totally," Remus said. "Its a box of tea," Sirius's face fell just as the arrived at the Fat Lady painting. Sirius said the password and they walked into the common room that was a bit crowded.
