'Why dont we go swimming?'

I wake up alone in my bed, i don't know where Belly's gone.

I can hear arguing downstairs so i decide to ease drop.

"What are you doing letting a 17 year old drink!" Susannah says to Jere firmly.

"Mum i didn't know that she was drinking. Do you really think that i would let her drink." Jere says back to his Mum apologetically.

"Your right i'm sorry. Conrad's juts stressing me out. He's been moody since Aubrey broke up with him. I mean you younger than him and your the one that acts like the older brother." Susannah says getting upset.

"It's ok." Jere says softly.

I walk downstairs to see Jere and Susannah hugging.

"Hey. I'm sorry for last night. I was just being stupid." I say interrupting there hug trying to get my apology out of the the.

"It's ok Mia. Where just glad that your safe." Susannah says walking over to me and hugging me.

I hug her back and look at Jere. I don't know why but it seems awkward between us.

"You two stay here for a bit i need to go and do some shopping." Susannah says letting go of the hug and grabbing her keys.

"Bye mum." Jere says hugging her.

"See you Susannah." I say smiling at her.

"Bye guys!" Susannah says as she walks towards the front door and leaves.

When susannah leaves i turn to face Jere. "What's wrong with you today?" I say leaning against the kitchen counter and putting a handful of dry coco pops in my mouth.

"Do you not remember anything that happened last night?" He questions.

I shake my head and say. "No what happened. All that i can remember is me going to go get a drink and then waking up."

"Nothing happened. What do you want to do while my mums gone?"Jere asks a he takes the coco pops of me and puts some in his mouth.

"Erm I don't know you pick." I say snatching the coco pops back of him.

"How about we go for a swim. You haven't been in the pool yet." Jere says as opens the cuboard to get a bowl out.

"Yeah sure let me get changed." I say as i start walking out of the kitchen.

"Wait where is everyone." I say turning back around to face him.

"Belly, Connie and Steven have gone to the beach but i don't know where Laurels gone." Jere replies pouring milk into his cereal.

I nod my head and go up the stairs so i can go and get changed.

I enter my room and look through my suitcase that i still haven't unpacked.

Me and Belly probably should but we've been busy.

I find a red bikini and a pair of denim shorts to go over the top of it.

I put it on and look in the mirror.

I still had my makeup on from last night and my hair hasn't been brushed.

I wipe my face and take all of my makeup off, then i brush though my knotty hair and chuck it up in a messy bun.

I decide to put a pair of converse on cause i don't want my feet out.

After i finished putting my shoes on i went downstairs but i stop myself walking in the kitchen because i hear Jere on the phone.

"I don't care Connie, you are not doing this again. You did it with Belly. You flirted with her then you decided to get with another person. You need to stay away from Mia she has already been through enough and she doesn't need you being a dick." He says to i'm assuming Conrad as he ends the call.

A/N: What should Mia do next. Should she pretend she didn't hear anything or should she confront Jere. Is Jere trying to help Mia or does he just want her for himself?How will Belly react?
