A Hearts Enchantment- Summer I Turned Pretty ᰔ

"Oh Oh. What happened?"

"What are you two doing!" Susannah says shocked.

"Erm. Well we. Uh." I reply not knowing what to say.

"Sorry Mum it was me. Mia didn't do anything." Jere says looking at his mum apologetically.

"Oh no i'm not mad. Just really. In the pool." Susannah says laughing.

"Oh Susannah we only kissed." I say making sure she didn't think we were doing anything else.

"Yeah Mum it was just a kiss." Jere says rubbing the back of his neck.

"Ok well Jere can you at least help me unload the shopping." Susannah says with to big bags of shopping in both of her hands.

Jere nods and pulls himself out of the pool.

"I'll help."I say getting out of the pool and following behind Jere.

"Thank you Mia." Susannah says to me as i take a bag of her.

I walk into the kitchen and start unloading all of the shopping.

Me and Jere keep quickly glancing at each other as we put the food away.

For some reason it's... awkward.

"Hey Susannah i'm gonna quickly go to the toilet." I say leaving the kitchen.

"It's ok i can finish unloading the shopping there is only a little bit left." Susannah says putting eggs in the fridge.

"Kk." I say walking up the stairs to go into the bathroom.

I just kissed Jere, and Susannah saw it.

This could not get any worse.

Omg what is Belly going to think, will she be mad at me because of how close her and Jere are?

I hope Susannah doesn't tell anyone otherwise this summer is going to get very awkward!

"Mia." I hear from outside the bathroom.

The voice sounds like Jere.

I open the bathroom door to see Jere stood there looking at me.

"Yes Jere." I say awkwardly.

"Look about what happened in the pool-" Jere says sounding apologetic .

"It's fine. Can we just forget about it." I say walking past him not being able to hold eye contact with him.

I walk into mine and Belly's room and chuck myself on the bed.

I am such an idiot for letting it get this far.

I've only known Jere for a couple of days and i've already kissed him for god sake.

I hear the front door open and a bunch of muttering from downstairs.

I guess that everyone is back.

I decide that i want to stay in the room to try and avoid Jere.

I really don't want this summer all about boys.

I want to spend time with Belly and make memories with.

"Miaaa!" I hear from Belly as she walks into the bedroom.

She sees me laid on the bed with my face facing the ceiling.

"Oh Oh. What happened." Belly says as she sits on the end of the bed.

"I don't know how to explain it." I say as i sit up.

"It's ok just say it MiMi." Belly says with a comforting smile on her face.

"I kissed Jere in the pool when everyone was gone." I blurt out panicking.

"What!" She says with a shocked face.

A/N: i needed to get Belly back in the story because she hasn't been in for a couple chapters and Belly's one of the MC. Do you think that Belly is going to be annoyed or do you think she is going to hype up Jeres and Mias kiss. Please if you have any ideas just put in the comments and i will add them into the story.
