-1 Month later-

Hayoon arrived at the hospital after receiving a call that Jake had regained consciousness. At that time, Jake's mother was still busy with her work. Only Jake's friends and Hayoon were there.

"Jake..."

Jake sat up in his bed and looked at Hayoon after she called him.

"Jake, do you remember me? This is me, Hayoon..."

Jake tilted his head because of confusion.

"Why you didn't react anything? Don't say that you don't remember me at all...Please don't-"

"Hayoon, actually, Jake has lost his memory... The doctor said the head injury affected his memory."

Hayoon immediately let go Jake's hand and took a step back.

"So, he doesn't remember me?"

"He doesn't remember any of us, he said he only remembers about the accident, and nothing else."

Hayoon was stunned, holding back her tears in front of Jake.

"What's your name again? Do you know me?"

Hayoon hesitated to answer when Jake asked her.

"Yes, we know each other, but we're not close... I came because your best friend asked me to represent her. She's busy, so she couldn't visit you."

"Who is she?"

Hayoon couldn't hold back her tears, and her tears started to falling in her cheek.

"You'll find out when she comes to visit you soon."

"Hayoon, why are you-"

"Jake, this is Hojun, Kyojin, and Woohan... they're your best friends too. I hope you remember them..."

Jake just nodded, and at that moment, Jake's mother arrived at the hospital.

"Jake?!"

Jake's mother rushed to Jake and hugged him.

"Who are you?" 

"I'm your mother, have you lost your memory? Jake... this is your mom! You should remember me!" 

"Ma'am, he just woke up. You can't overwhelmed him like this."

Mrs. Shin released her embrace. Hayoon tried to leave before Jake's mother noticed her, but she got caught.

"Didn't I warn you to not come?!!"

Jake was startled when his mother raised her voice at Hayoon.

"I apologize, Ma'am, but-"

Mrs. Shin slapped Hayoon forcefully.

"Useless! You're the reason my son-" 

"Ma'am!! Please don't talk about that in front of him... I beg you."

"Hayoon, let's go from here." 

"You all have broken my rules? Didn't I told you not to let her meet Jake?!!!" 

"Stop!!!"

Jake screams while held his head in pain.

"Jake, are you okay?"

Jake didn't respond, he just held his head and closing his eyes.
