The next morning, Hayoon arrives in front of Jake's room. She takes a deep breath as her heart races to meet Jake. She opens the door.

"Hayoon, we've been waiting for you to meet Jake. Finally, you're here."

"I couldn't meet Jake because his mom warned me not to meet him."

"It's okay, Hayoon. You can meet Jake anytime when his mom is not around."

"We'll let you know if his mom is here, so you won't get caught with her."

Hayoon nods and approaches Jake.

"Can you guys leave us?"

"Of course."

Hojun, Kyojin, and Woohan leave the room and wait outside.

"Jake, I came bringing your favorite flowers... Today is our birthday, right? You'll surely like it because I've kept my promise to give you chrysanthemum flowers."

Hayoon cries silently, holding Jake's hand and gently stroking his cheek.

"You'll wake up, right? You won't leave me alone, right"

Hayoon forces herself to smile.

"You tell me that even if you lose your memory, you'll try to remember me, right? You really mean it, right?"

Hayoon wipes her tears and tries to calm herself.

"I know you don't like to seeing me cry, so please wake up so you can see me smile again."

"You said if I needed someone, you would be there for me, right? I would hate you if you didn't keep your words back then."

"I don't know what my feelings are for you right now, but I'm sure my feelings for you are more than just friends."

"I will wait for you until you wake up."

Hayoon tightly holds Jake's hand. After that, she stands up from her seat and leaves the room.

"I will come again, please wait for me."

Hayoon leaves the room and wiped her tears.

"Are you going now, Hayoon?"

"I want to ask for your help. If Jake's mom asks who gave him the flowers, say that the flowers are from you guys so she won't throw them away."

"Alright, we understand."

"Anyway, happy birthday, Hayoon. Please be cheerful. Jake would love to see you smile."

"If this hadn't happened, both of you would be happily celebrating you guys birthdays now."

Hayoon just smiles even her eyes teary.

"I'm sorry, this is all because of me..."

"Oh, it's not your fault! Woohan, why are you saying that to Hayoon?"

"B-but, I didn't mean that you caused all of this..."

"It's okay, I understand... Anyway, thank you for giving me the chance to meet Jake even for a while."

"Come again tomorrow, Jake is surely watching you now..."

"I will come again, please take care of Jake for me."

"We will!"

Hayoon smiles, but her eyes still teary because of sadness. She then leaves the places.

JAKE AND HAYOON'S CONDITION UPDATE

📌Jake: He's getting better, but still in a coma.

📌Hayoon: Her leg is getting better, but she still needs to use her cane for support. Her right hand is still bandaged.

Fortunately, Hayoon went home early. At the same time, Jake's mother arrived at the hospital.

"Ma'am?"

"Why are you all so surprised?"

"Nothing, ma'am..."

When Jake's mother was about to put her handbag on the table, she spotted the flowers.

"Who gave Jake these flowers?"

"Today is Jake's birthday. That's our birthday gift for Jake."

"That girl didn't come here, right?"

"Who?"

"From the way you're asking, I can assure that she didn't come here."

"Of course, she wouldn't come here, you've already warned her."

"I hope none of you break my rules."

At night, Hayoon sat on a bench infront of Han River. Accompanied by the breeze, her eyes looked swollen because she crying all day. Hayoon saw a couple, and it reminded her of Jake.

"I can't do this. I'll always think about you wherever I go, I need someone right now, but he's not here. What should I do, Jake?"

Hayoon forced a laugh, but at the same time, her tears were flowing.

"I'm not crying, my tears just tearing up naturally now without me realizing... I've got used to it now."

"I still can laugh even when I'm sad. You must be proud of me, right Jake?"

"I'm sure you're watching me right now, I'm sure you're sitting beside me..."

"I can feel your presence... But, what if I'm actually going crazy just because I missing you?"

Hayoon found it funny and she laugh at herself. She even hit her head because she feels like she looks stupid. After that, Hayoon went home by bus, looking out of the bus window, remembering that Jake always drive her home before.
