"You've got to clear your mind, imagine what you are—now, repeat after me. Amato Animo Animato Animagus."
Harry's brows furrowed, "Amato Animo Animato Animagus," he repeated phrase until lightning struck. But when it did strike, something happened.
Remus' could only stare, mouth agape as he stared at an adolescent, black wolf, "Harry?"
The wolf made a sound of confusion, ears lying back. He yipped as if trying to reply, looking around for the source of the noise, before realizing it was him.
Harry's tail wagged wildly, clearly aware he'd succeeded in becoming an Animagus. He yipped again.
"Harry, Harry! Let's go outside, I doubt Sirius would like cleaning up broken furniture." The wolf followed Remus, perhaps sensing the wolf in Remus as he stayed in step behind him. Remus smiled as Harry tapped his paws, jumping in place out of pure excitement.
While Remus didn't know how Harry could complete the transformation without completing the steps, he enjoyed the sight of the happy wolf running around. Harry was jumping all over the place, trying to get used to his wolf legs.
Harry looked at Remus, letting out a happy whine, "Yes, yes. Look at you, you're a wolf, Harry. I suppose 'cub' really fits you now."Harry whined, "Already begging for attention?" Remus grinned as he scratched behind Harry's ears. Harry's tail wagging until Remus pulled away.

—————————————————————Padfoot stared in shock at the wolf currently nuzzling Remus' hand. He turned to Remus questioningly. "Padfoot, so.. I had Harry practicing his Animagus steps, and, well—turns out he's a wolf."
Padfoot stood there, mouth falling open in shock, leaving himself open to an attack as Harry tackled him to the ground.
Harry yipped loudly when Padfoot bounced back to his feet, knocking Harry off of him.
Remus watched as the Animagus' wrestled, happy barks and excited howls turning into frustrated growls when Harry pinned Padfoot once again. "Alright, let's calm down. It's getting darker, and I'd like a to relax by the fire."
