Part 3 - What are you doing to me?

KAMINARI POV

Jiro sat down next to me. My heartbeat sped up a bit, but I kept myself collected. Just as I was about to say something, she started humming softly. It was The Spirit of Radio by Rush, the song I was listening to. She sang quietly, and hummed softly.

I found myself just, staring at her. I felt my heart beat faster, and my face was burning. When the song ended, I was still staring at her when she looked up at me.

JIRO POV

I looked up at Kaminari and I was about to say something, but I instantly froze when I saw him. He was looking directly into my eyes.

My face got hot. I probably looked like a strawberry. I swore my heart was about to pop out of my chest. We sat there for a second, just gazing into each other's eyes.

Then I cleared my throat, breaking the silence between us. He shook his head, as if he was snapping himself out of some sort of trance.

"Uh, s-sorry." He said nervously scratching the back of his head. "N-no, no! I-It's fine!" I was about to leave when he got up as well.

Before I could go, he gently grabbed hold of my hand and lead me into the kitchen. Everyone else was in the common area so we were alone. Just Kaminari and me.

"What are you doing???" I asked flustered at the contact and a slightly annoyed tone. Kaminari noticed and smiled sweetly at me.

My face started to glow a bright red, similar to Kirishima's hair. "Sorry for dragging you in here, but I wanted to talk to you." He said, now with a slightly nervous smile and a pink tint on his cheeks.

So cute... Wait, no. Stay calm, keep collected. There's no possibility that he would actually like someone like you. I pushed my feelings to the side and still, I looked at him with pink cheeks.

"I wanted to apologize for this morning." I paused for a second, trying to remember what he meant. Then it hit me- the fight!

"What are you apologizing for?" He looked a little sad. "I wasn't sure if I made you uncomfortable or not when I hugged you, so, I'm sorry." He said honestly.

I smiled sweetly at him, walked up to him, and hugged him again. "It's okay." I said softly. He stood there for a second just frozen.

After a few seconds, I felt his arms wrap around my waist and he whispered in my ear. "Thank you." He said hugging me tighter and nuzzling his face into my neck.

My heart started to beat faster. I squeezed him back, burying my face into his chest. I heard his heart start to beat faster than normal. It was a comforting sound to hear. I wonder what he's thinking...

KAMINARI POV

Oh God, she used that tone again. Why do I get so excited? Why is she so cute... My heart started beating faster. I figured she could probably hear it, but I didn't care.

My mind was running in circles. I wanted that moment to last forever. I wanted to hold her and never let go. But everything, good or bad, has to end at some point.

We herd Iida calling everyone, telling them to go to bed. She pulled away first. I was a bit sad that the hug ended, but I was just happy that I got to be with Jiro. We all said good night and Iida shooed us to bed.

TIME SKIP TO MORNING

NARRATED POV

It was about 6:30 when Jiro woke up. You know that kind of early morning when you're tired and completely unrested but you know you can't go back to sleep? Yeah? Well, Jiro was experiencing that exact annoying early morning sensation.
