Back to Christo's POV

"Hey! Did you meet her or not?" Rohan asked anxiously as soon as I entered the home.

"Yup!" I sulked.

"Did she say something?" He asked.

"She said 'Nothing' twice. 'No' and 'Bye' once, and that's it." I was disappointed not by her but by myself for expecting a lot from a girl I never talked to.

He said, "Okaayyyyy," and it was clear that something else was running through his mind.

"Why these questions?" I asked with a doubtful expression.

"I met her." He said it and didn't elaborate on it at all.

"Hey! What are you talking about? When and why? Most importantly, where?" I couldn't stop questioning.

"In the streets. Probably when she returned from the date. She fell on the road and wounded her knees. So I helped her get home." He said it with a straight face. I couldn't read his face for the first time.

"Hey! Can you please elaborate? Did she say something about the date or me? Is she interested in me or not?" I asked anxiously, but he didn't reciprocate any of my feelings.

Again with a straight face, he said, "I think she might be committed. So let's stop all this."

"Heyy! I didn't ask for your assumptions." I said, and I didn't want to continue the conversation because his words were hurting me for the very first time in my life.

-------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning, I woke up by myself, as I thought Rohan wouldn't wake me up. I felt for the first time that Rohan wouldn't support my love anymore. But he came to my room screaming, "I got some work, so I am leaving early. Bye!!" He took a second to think and added, "Your girl is out near the gate. Byee!"

I jumped out of bed, hurried to Rohan, and squeezed him with a tight hug.

"Thank you, Ro. I thought my personal alarm would not wake me up from now on."

"I will. Don't worry." He uttered and went out, as he was in a hurry to his work.

What work?

"Hey! Are you not attending the cricket training today?" I screamed as he was somewhere in the house, but I couldn't figure out where as I was still in my room.

He came back to my room and muttered, "I am looking for a part-time job."

"Why? You are wealthy. I am wealthy. We have our passions, which we should take care of. Why a part-time job?" I asked in confusion, as we both can never find a reason for working.

"We have a passion to take care of, but our passion is not taking care of us." Rohan said it before stepping out of my room.

What's he talking about? Will passion really take care of us?

Ah! I forgot Zaara.

I rushed close to the front door. But I chose to stay in, as I wanted to see her but not show my presence.

She was staring, and there was no doubt about that. As I took a deeper look, I noticed that her eyesight was not on me or on the gate but on the bike, the helmet, and maybe on the one driving the bike, Rohan.
