Christo's POV

"Hmmm, okay." The girl I almost hit sighed.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"Nothing. Continue." She said that and got up from the road.

She might have noticed my gaze at Zaara.

"You asked for a coffee, right?" I asked.

"Thank God you still remember. I was hesitating to ask again." She said that and was looking at me like a puppy, eager to get its food.

I pointed in the direction of my home and said, "This way," but it ended as a chorus as she also said the same words.

"Can you walk? You are not injured, right?" I asked the question that I should have asked first.

She said, "Yep!" and started walking slowly.

I walked with her while I was towing my bike. She was happy, which anyone could tell, but I was not sure why.

"This is your home, right?" She smiled, looking at me.

"Yes. But how do you.." She chopped my words and said, "I am the girl next door whom you have never noticed."

"You are..." I hesitated to ask her name, but she understood the assignment and replied, "Maya."

"I am.." She completed my statement by saying, "Christo."

She knows me, and that's scary.

We both entered my home, and her aura was literally scaring me. She was into me, and I didn't want that at all.

"You can sit. I will be back with your coffee." I said it casually, pointing to the sofa.

"Do you mind if I help you make coffee?" She eagerly proposed.

I mind.

But I didn't want to hurt her because I saw me in her-the part of me that loves Zaara unconditionally. She wanted to be with me, and that's it. I couldn't hurt someone for that.

"No problem. You can come with me." I said that and went to the kitchen while she followed me like a hutch dog.

While I was making her coffee, she came close to me from the back and whispered, "I love youuu.." She dragged out the words, and her words made me turn instantly to look at her. We were so close that I could feel her breath, and her eyes were trying to hypnotize me while she completed the statement, "Uuur home."

"What?" I asked, though I could clearly sense what she was trying to convey.

"Whhhhaaaaaaaaattttt?" Someone screamed at a distance, which broke her close contact with me.

It was Rohan.

"I will come tomorrow for this cup of coffee. Preserve the coffee and the moment." She whispered and went out after waving a bye-bye to me.

Once she was out the door, Rohan started talking. "What were you guys doing?"

"I should be the one to ask that. What were you guys doing last night?" I was angry at him, though I never had a reason to.

"Is it about Zaara?" Rohan asked, to which I replied, "Yes."

"If I say something like what you did right now, how will you react to it?" He asked to bring my blood to a boil.

"Do you want a fight?" I asked in anger.

"Just say what was happening before I came in. Is your love for Zaara vanished at the moment when a cute girl was so close to you?" He asked in anger, but I couldn't find a reason for his anger.

"She loves me, and I can choose anyone. What's your problem?" I asserted this to him.

"No problem at all. Zaara loves me, and I too can choose her." He smirked and walked away from me.
