I turned around to face him and saw him trying to sit upright. I rushed by his side to assist him.

"Easy, easy now. Slowly please. You're not allowed to sit by yourself and you still need to stay in bed." I instructed.

He weakly smiled at me and my heart started singing. Even with his shrunken face, his gorgeous manly face looks wonderful and dreamy.

"You saved me", he whispered. Our face were only one foot apart.

"Yes", I replied,my voice became husky. I cleared my throat. His closeness was making me dizzy. He smelled of a manly musk. His scent so utterly familiar.

"Actually it was me and my friend, Dr. Mina." I smiled at the mention of my friend's name. We forgot she was pregnant during the strenous commotion. Luckily, nothing bad happened to her baby.

I saw him frowned and was quiet. As if he was assessing my reaction.

"Remind me to thank Dr. Mina then", he sounded gruff and I took it that he was in pain. I checked his IV.

"Your sedations are on a lower dose now but in case you need an additional pain medication we can--"

"Tell me more about yourself, Nicolaa", he asked. I was stopped at mid-sentenced.

"About myself?", I looked at him again, puzzled. "There's not much to tell about me, Mr. Morisson".

"Call me Eric, please", he smiled.

His eyes were feasting on my face. There were a deafening silence that lasted for about a minute.

"E-Eric, I'm sorry but we nurses are not allowed to give confidential details about ourselves". I explained.

"How will I know if you're married or have a boyfriend?", he asked weakly. The IV sedation bolus I gave him was slowly working their magic.

I was caught unaware. It's too personal so I chose to change the subject.

"I really must go now". I got up and looked away from him.

His eyes closing. His sedations started to work.

"If ever you need anything from us just ring the call bell anytime". I instructed, knowing full well he was back in the dreamy state.

I slowly walked away and made my escape.

I didn't know what happened back there. That question made me nervous. I could have said no but something in his eyes made me hesitant.

He was predatory, like a wild lion. That blonde hair and beard made him look like it except for his magnificent blue eyes.

My favorite color, blue.

They made my heart skipped a beat.

In my dreams, I cannot distinguished their color.

It was just a vague memory. I knew he would be tall but not 'that' tall.

He was atleast over six feet in height against my only 162 cm height. He was a large, muscular man.

A smile broke upon my lips.

For now the man in my dreams has a face and a name.

A strong one.

Mr. Eric Morisson.
