I was suffering from a severe a migraine. I felt like my head was going to split into two. The wedding was drawing near, six days to go to be exact and I would be the new Mrs. Eric Morisson.

Eric, the man who wants to own me.

The man who was blackmailing me into marrying him.

The man who got my family eating away from his fingers.

The man who won their hearts without any qualms and hesitations.

The day he met my mom amd Tori will forever be etched in my memory. He was such a charming, handsome fellow that with just one smile from him, got them melting for him like an ice cream under the summer heat.

Tori was an exception for she was only twenty years of age but my mom?!
Hello! My mom was almost sixty and he made her giggle like a teenage girl.

He went with me to visit my mom and Tori the day after he proposed to me in his car. He said there was no time to waste, that he desperately wanted to meet them so I took him to our ancestral home. Hoping at the back of my mind my mom would say no to him. But again, fate was just not on my side.

"Here we are, he announced.

I was looking at him as if he turned into a beast.

How come he knew where my family home was?

"I did my set of spying", he grinned childishly.

Before I could speak, he went out and opened the car door for me.

He was still grinning. I set my shoulders straight and stood up. I was wearing a dark blue maong shorts, an inch above my knees and a baby pink colored blouse with a matching dark pink sandals while he was looking delicioso wearing a fitted yellow polo shirt, a dark brown khaki shorts and a pair of green loafers. We wore casual. At least I was not under dressed standing beside him today.

I was about to walked ahead of him when he reached for my left hand.

"You're not wearing it", he said, looking down on my fingers. Frowning.

I knew what he meant.

"It's in my bag. I left it at home", I gulped.

He glared at me with a stubborn jaw set for a fight.

"We're going back", he said frowning stubbornly.

"Are you crazy?!", I wailed.

"No", he moved to go back at the driver's seat and I followed him.

'"Get in the car, now!", he said, nares flaring.

"No. I. Won't!", I crossed my arms against my chest and lifted my chin defiantly.

"I swear Nicolaa, if you won't get inside the car, I will-".

"Wow! This is a great drama unfolding", Tori. Amusement lacing her face.

We both looked at her. They obviously heard us shouting at each other from inside the house. Tori was grinning cheekily, clasping both of her hands infront of her while our mom was smiling gently at us beside her.

Oh, shocks! My family saw us bickering.

I never ever lose my temper with anyone other than this yummy specimen of a manhood.

Grrr..! So embarassing.

I started blushing.

He chuckled. He knew what I was thinking. The gal of this man. He grinned at me as if telling me 'See? I won this round'.

I stuck my tongue at him.

"Nicolaa!", mom, admonishing me. So shocked to see me acting like a chlid infront of them all.

"Good day, Missus James", he was still grinning.

He went to me and clasped my hand then squeezed it gently. Reassuring me perhaps asking for a truce.

I bit my lip, still blushing till the roots of my hair.

"I would like to introduce myself to you both properly. My name is Eric Morrison and I take it that you're my Nicolaa's beautiful mommy", he grinned and my mom blushed as he leaned down to kiss her cheek.

"I'm Tori, her sister", Tori sounded like a five year old asking for her turn.

Oh my God! I was losing my allies here.

"Hi Tori, I heard a lot about you. Your sister is right, you're very lovely too, just like your mom. I'm now having second thoughts of marrying her", he winked at me, grinning, oozing with deadly sex appeal.

Both mom and Tori giggled.

Oh, come on!

"You made a great choice here, Nic. He's so adorable", mom teased.

"And handsome, too", Tori blurted admiringly.

I blushed more. I felt my face getting redder, I was afraid I was going to lit up.

"She knows she did, she just kept on denying it. See?", he lifted my left hand which he was holding. "She removed the engagement ring I gave her", he pouted, with a fake puppy, doeful eyes.

"Oh no, and we were so excited to see it", Tori huffed.

I rolled my eyes heavenward.

I was surrounded by little kids now.

"Now, now, there's another time to do that. Why don't we all go inside and eat dinner while it's still hot? Nicolaa, behave."

Mom gave me a pointed look and reprimanded me.

I sighed.

What did I do to deserve this?
