A/N: Just some Stellaride smutty for Valentine's Day. 🥵 I hope you like it.
Happy Valentine's Day! 😉
Valentine's Day is a sweet day of pinks and purples, boxes of chocolate and bouquets of flowers, romantic dinners, and sentimental gifts, cards, and candies. It's also a romantic day for couples—married couples, couples who have been together for years, couples who just recently became a couple, and even a few who are just dating. Some couples don't take the holiday so seriously; some take it way overboard, and others just enjoy the day with their special someone.
Valentine's Day is also a day that brings a dark cloud over some people who are recently single or going through a breakup. Or who just hasn't found that special someone? And some just hate it for no reason at all.
"I hate Valentine's Day." Brett said as she, Foster and Stella walked through the mall.
"You are only saying that because you're single." Stella said as she browsed around the store.
"True." She admitted it in a sad, pathetic tone.
"Technically, the three of us agreed to stay home this Valentine's Day." Foster said as she looked at some dresses.
"We did?" Stella gave her a questionable look.
"Yes!"
"Well, actually, Stella said I'm staying home in bed and watching love actually." Brett pointed out.
"I did?"
"Yes! Don't you remember last Valentine's Day, we girls did a girl's trip and ended up encountering an accident involving a boys hockey team? And at the hospital, as we were waiting to make sure everyone was okay, you said no offense, but next Valentine's Day I'm staying home in bed and watching love actually."
"Oh!" Stella replied. "I remember that now."
"Mhmm." Foster nodded her head. "And now you're going on a romantic getaway for two days."
"Hey, in my defense. When I said that I was single, Kelly and I were broken up. I didn't know if we would be back together or not."
"I did," Brett said as she was trying on a dress.
"Me to." Foster added.
Stella gave them both a yeah-right look. "No, you didn't."
"I did." Brett told her. "It's you and Severide; of course you two were going to find your way back to each other. The love and connection was always there; you guys just needed some time. I knew eventually love would lead you guys back to each other."
"Plus, Severide and I had a little talk at Molly's, and I saw the love, the sadness, and the regret reflecting in his eyes. That man was driving himself crazy without you. I knew telling him to man up or let you move on was an eye-opener for him."
"And he man up by telling me that I deserved a better man, and he was going to be that man for me." Stella smiled widely. "And he's definitely lived up to those words." She sighed. "You know, technically, I might not be spending Valentine's Day at home, but I will be spending it in bed, just not watching a movie." She smirks.
Brett rolled her eyes. "So you leave tonight?
"Yes, our flight is scheduled for eight tonight; it's like a three- or four-hour flight, and he still won't tell me where."
"I think it's sweet and so romantic." Brett tells her.
"It is; it's definitely romantic." Stella replied, thinking of the next few days away with Kelly.
"I thought we came here to find Severide a Valentine gift; why are we in a lingerie store?" Brett asked.
"I wanted to buy some new lingerie for Kelly's gift." She tells them as she picks up a g-string.
