My new mother clinked her classes for the toasts and we all looked up.

"I would like to make a toast to the combining of two families. There are both wonderful and I hope we will be to together for a long time for a long time." My new mother said "I would also like my new daughter Avalon to come up here a give a small speech. Avalon come on up." she said smiling.

Now I'm not on to turn down an offer like that but I don't like talking in front of people but I had to do it so hay why not make a fool out of my self in front of my new family. So I walked up there and I'll fall with pride.

"Ok then..... I don't really now what to say. So I'll do the most cheese thing I can think of and sleek from the heart." I clerked my thought and looked at most of my new family smiling. "I haven't seen my dad in about 10 or so years and he was never happy. He was always fighting with my mom and yelling. To be honest I was scared of him." I looked over my shoulder to see my dad not able to look me in the eye. "But when I moved back here I saw him being happy for the first time in years. So all I'm trying to say is, is that I'm so happy to be to excepted into something that makes my dad happy. And for that I have to thank you for making him the happy that my family never could." I finished and people clapped and smiled. I don't get why cause it sucked but hay I'll take what I can get. Then I felt strong arms around me hugging me and I turn around to see my dad smiling.

After everything died down a bit I went back to talk to the boys who where smiling like idiots.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing it's just 10 years ago you never would have done that and now look at you." Ash said smiling like a proud parent.

"Yeah well a lot can change in 10 years ." I said with a sad smile.

"Yeah well let's see if your as bad of a dance as people said you once where." Michael said holding out his hand for me to take.

"Fine but I make no promises that you'll come back with all 10 toes." I said taking his hand and him leaning me to the dance floor with a smile.

We talked and danced for a long time. Michael was good at that you know just talking. honestly it was refreshing just to talk to someone I didn't know and who didn't know me.

The party went on for 2 more hours and then everyone had to leave except my mother and my new sis KT.

"Ok so since your room isn't finished yet Avalon you and KT will have to share a room until it is. Got it?" i shook my head at my dad. I had never had to share my room with some one before so this should be interesting.
