Since this was for my dad and his fianced party I had to get dressed up and I hated it to be honest I thought I looked like a hot mess so hey let's go.

I walked down the stairs and I hate to say this but I felt like a princess. And for those 4 seconds before I broke a heal where beautiful. But then I came crushing down on the stairs.

"Avalon are you ok." Ashton asked as he came and ran up to help me.

"Ya I'm fine." I said aggravated and took of my red heel. "the dam dog chewed of the heal." and just like that my 75lb. German Shepard came running in to finish of his work.

"Hey at least I know your still graceful." Ash said laughing.

"Oh shut up, what are you doing?" I asked walking up the stairs to get my new black heals and he fallowed.

"My mom is really good friends with your dad." he said standing at the door of my room about to go in.

"Ahah your not going in there I can't be bring in strange men in my room." I said smirking.

"Ya but I'm a not strange man." he said and took a step towds me.

"But I haven't talked you in over 12 years." I said still smiling and taking a step forward so we just a millineanter away I could fell his hot breath on my skin and it sent shivers through my body. Then we both got shocked back into reality and I putted away from our let's call it a staring contest.

"So I'll stay out here than." he said awakardly

"Ya I'll be right out." I slid through the door and closed it sliding down the door to try to and figure out what the hell just happened.

Ashton's POV

After we were so close I need some time to think. I almost kissed one of my best friends. And I wanted to oh god this can't happen.

"Hey Ash" I turned to see Michael pull me out of my thoughts.

"Hey Mate you ok?" Luke asked.
