Hayden felt a warm feeling inside his heart as he walked through the pathway between the over grown grass around him.

The air he breathed felt fresh and the Sun seemed to shine a little brighter.

He loved how messy William's hair had become, owing to the wind that whistled through. He was sure that his hair would look just as messy.

He felt good, just walking behind William, holding his hand as he lead him to somewhere he calls "a place of his own".

In no time, William lead him to a place where most of the grass were beaten down. It seemed as if the grass were down for someone came there often.

William let go off Hayden's hand and walked ahead. He spread his arms out and turned around, puffing his chest out "Le Paradis de la solitude!"

Hayden huffed. "what?". Maybe, he should have paid a little more attention in his French classes back in school.

"This is where I come to spend some alone time, and congratulations, Mr. Hayden- Whatever- Orwell, you are the first outsider to ever step foot in here!" William had a wide smile plastered on his face.

Hayden didn't know that something so silly could make his heart flutter. That it could make him feel so happy.

He let out a chuckle. "You wouldn't believe me, but I'm moved"

"Oh, I believe you"

William sat down and patted on the spot near him, indicating for Hayden to sit down.

Hayden, though he sat down, had his eyebrows creased. "It's going to ruin your custom-tailored suit"

"I'll just have another one tailored. No big deal"

Huh.

Hayden felt a pang of realisation of how wealthy this guy was. He would have a number of such neatly tailored suits and losing one of them wouldn't mean a thing to him. Of course, it's no big deal!

"How did you know this place anyway?" Hayden asked out of curiosity.

"My father owns these lands"

Hayden narrowed his eyes to look at William. "Can you please stop info dumping me about how rich you are?"

"You should stop asking! I'm just spilling facts" William smirked. He liked the annoyed look on Hayden's face. He couldn't see why Hayden had to be annoyed.

"Fine, let's talk about something else, then" Hayden said and laid down on his back, looking ahead at the blue sky above him. It really was a lot different than the city. The sky was clearer and the clouds looked fuller.

"Tell me about yourself, Hayden" William said in a soft voice, gazing into Hayden's face expectantly.

"Well" Hayden adjusted the glasses on his nose and rested his arms on his stomach. "I'm a normal human being, working hard to make a living. Now I'm skipping the source of my money because I'm miserably in love with a pot-head"

William let out a gasp and made an impressed face. "I can't believe you" he chuckled and laid down beside the other man, just staring ahead at the birds that flew freely in the sky.

"Do you really think it is okay for us to be together?" Hayden asked out of nowhere and William's breathe hitched in his throat.

Was it?

"It is okay for me"

"You know that's not what I meant"

"Why would you care, Hayden? If we're okay with it, what could possibly stop us from loving each other?"

Hayden found a smile creep up his face."Yeah you're right"

He felt so stupid to ever doubt it. William was right. What could possibly stop them?

The wind whistled through and Hayden lied there with William, dreaming of all the things they'd do together, all the places they'd go.

It was a beautiful dream.
