Hayden found Lana soon after Jack Lore was done shouting at him for being late. He didn't even have to put an effort into it, Lana was enjoying the show from a cabinet next to it.

Hayden rolled his eyes when Lana passed him a smirk.

"What's up, Hay-boy?" Lana asked with a grin and Hayden was too exhausted to defend himself against the nickname she keeps calling him.

He heaved a sigh as Lana slid her chair next to him, her ears all ready to devour whatever news Hayden was about to tell her. Gossip--she's always loved them.

"Well, last night was kinda interesting" Hayden stated, as he plopped himself down on his seat beside Lana.

"Define 'interesting'" Lana propped up her head in her hands.

Hayden heaved a sigh. He was sure Lana was going to make up weird stories about it later.

"I found out my new neighbour becomes extremely troublesome when he is drunk. The guy almost set fire to his kitchen and I had to help him clear the mess"

"So, precisely, you didn't get your sleep last night either" Lana observed with a nod.

"You could say that"

"So, how is he like? I mean, Your neighbour"
Lana asked, feeling more intrigued as she propped her elbows upon the table.

"He seems to be a decent guy. He came out of his flat to meet me in the morning, while I was rushing out. Said we should meet for lunch today" Hayden shrugged.

"So, you won't be joining me for lunch" Lana didn't know why she felt a little disappointed. It was not like she didn't have anyone else to spend the lunch hour with.

"Yeah, guess I'll have to pass. Oh and hey, Lana, I've been meaning to ask you. The guy seems to be stinking of money. Tell me, does his name ring any bell?" Hayden perked his ears up with a serious face.

"Hayloft, you didn't tell me his name" Lana was already feeling exhausted of how dumb Hayden acted sometimes.

Hayden scratched his head in embarrassment. "William Wolfgang"

"Well,... I don't think I've heard of such a weird name before, but we could always look it up, Can't we?" With a grin, Lana slid over to Hayden's computer and started typing away.

A few moments of staring into the computer and Lana heaved a sigh. "Whoa" she whistled with a raised eyebrow.

"What?"

"Is this the same guy?"

Hayden looked over Lana's shoulder and saw the same dazzling face that met him the morning, on the screen. "Yeah" he couldn't help his heart from leaping into his throat.

"Uh-huh. Boy, oh boy, he is the son of Michael Wolfgang"

Hayden made a face. He didn't think that name meant anything to him. Lana knew him well enough and she could easily tell that Hayden had no idea who that was.

"Hayden, are you for real?" She heaved a deep sigh, rubbing her temples. "He is a well-known entrepreneur, that's all" she said in a low voice.

"Oh, so that explains it pretty much" Hayden made an impressed face.

"So, does tha--"

"Orwell!"

Both Lana and Hayden jumped as the sudden grumpy, loud voice of Jack Lore rang through the office hall.

"Get your lazy ass to work! I want that report on my table tomorrow first thing in the morning!"

Hayden ducked his head down, sliding his chair into his cabinet, as if that would keep him out of trouble. Lana was nowhere to be found.

Hayden pursed his lips and typed away as fast as he could. He felt his mind get cloudy with thoughts.

What on Earth was some rich guy doing in a residential apartment!?
