Chapter 6

As Sam pulled into the parking area near the beach,Luca worried out of his mind.What if Sam found out and tried to hurt him?What would happen if he's afraid of sirens,and what would happen to their friendship?As he tried to calm down,Sam opened the door and tossed a towel at Luca."I'm gonna go change,ya coming?"Lica blushed for a quick moment then realized what Sam actually meant."Yeah,let's go"

Time skip

"Wierd there's not any people here"
"Yeah..."
Luca answered,looking at anything and everything except him,his chest,his dreamy eyes...Luca tried to stamp that thought immediately.Sam is a friend.Sam is just a friend.Sam is just a friend.Sam is just a really hot friend.

"Hey do you wanna head down to the shoreline?"Sam asked.
"Why not?"
As Sam and Luca walked down,Sam wondered why Luca was so worried.He hoped that everything was ok and that he wasn't overstepping boundaries.When Luca looked at him,he became super flustered.It looked like Luca belonged here.It didn't matter how flustered or upset he was,it seemed he knew what to do,or at least seemed calmer here.Considering Luca had been super jittery on the car ride,Sam found this confusing.Either way,he enjoyed seeing Luca so happy,or at least calm.Sam fell to a stop when a loose shell made him lose his balance."Careful!Luca said as he grabbed Sam's hand and pulled him back onto shore.But then,Lucas clumsiness got the best of them,and they both went tumbling into the sand.It was deadly silent until Luca said "Well that didn't work"
At this frankly obvious comment,Sam began to laugh.Luca soon joined in,and soon they were tumbling on the sand,full of laughter."Then,Lucas worst nightmare came true.A large wave was rising,and even though it got smaller and smaller,one small drop managed to land itself right on Lucas shoe.In no less than a minute,Lucas legs morphed together,his feet gone and in its place,was a glistening green tail.When Sam leaned over,he saw Luca on his new form.As Sam was about to ask a question,Luca tapped his tail,forming into a human again,and ran.
