The trainer hit his staff against the platform to cause a loud clash against the metal attatched to the post, which immediately caught Elysium's attention.

He bared his teeth in fury and anger as he felt a strong power surge through him. His paws and eyes twitched with the tension. Elysium never liked this power. He felt as if he wasn't in control of it. As if something took him over while he could only watch and predict what his body does with every next move.

The trainer made the first move, dashing forward and doing a spin attack, kicking Elysium in the face and against the platform, making him cringe in pain, which quickly turned into rage. He jumped up and pounched onto the trainer, burying his claws into his victim's arms, when he was suddenly kicked in the stomach and sent back onto the tiled floor, his smooth fur causing him to slide and hit against the holographic arena. Shyla stood behind the sheild, putting her hands over her mouth, her expression painted with worry and fear for the little creature.

Elysium got up on his paws from his fallen position and shot forward at speed of sound, immediately catching the trainer off guard and pinning the trainer to the floor, his head having bashed against the tiles, the impact making him dizzier than ever.

Elysium unsheeted his claws, raising his left paw threateningly while the claws of his other paw sank into his competitor's shoulder. His eyes were constructed into slits, baring his canines with saliva dripping from his teeth and his quills sparking flashes of electricity. He was just about to slash his enemy's face when he was stopped by a lasso that was shot, wrapping around Elysium's neck, immediately dragging him off of his trainer.

The lasso was loosened after giving the trainer enough time to get back up and into position. Elysium got out the lasso's hold and struck forward again, but this tim the trainer was prepared, and he stepped aside for Elysium to charge into the sheild, hitting his head hard enough to make it glitch. He backed up before Elysium jumped up against the breaking sheild and pounched onto him from above. He landed onto his trainer's chest and grabbed him by the throat, digging his fingers into his trainer's skin.

Shyla screamed at Elysium, telling him to let the trainer go, but he didn't listen. He was too caught in the moment while his eyes saw red.

The trainer slammed the end of his staff into Elysium's stomach, making him gag and fall back onto the ground. He curled up and held his stomach with a groan, ears pinning back. The trainer walked up to him and rubbed his own sore throat.

"You are strong, little fool. However, you are still very stupid. You failed me... but..." The trainer sighed. "I must admit that you did give me quite the fight." The trainer chuckled as he looked at the hedgehog.

Elysium grinned. This grin wasn't of joy or happiness, oh hoh no... but rather mischief and blood thirst. The scientist/trainer only saw a flash from Elysium's body. It was as if he had moved spots, but he was still there and in the same position.

The trainer cocked his head to the side in confusion as to why his trainee's body didn't move a muscle, until he was overwhelmed with a sudden sharp pain as he was struck in the back with blade cutting spikes.

He yelped out in pain, his suit tore apart, and he felt his skin getting slashed as the blades cut deeper into his back, causing his back to be bleeding profusely in the aftermath.

Elysium shot back, getting out of his new spindash form, and landed onto his back paws. His quills were puffed up and were shining brightly with the lights reflecting off the sharp pens.

His head was held high. His eyes were wide and furious, with a menacing smirk spreading from cheek to cheek. His right eye twitched from the adrenaline and satisfaction after his attack. His black stripes were drenched in a warm, thick, red liquid with some pieces of skin and fabric. The blood was seeping deeper into his thick pelt, which blended well into his red fur, almost completely unnoticeable.
